I was taught from day 1 that a discretionary trust under a company was always the wasy to go so that you achieved the maximum protection.
Don’t forget also about the land tax situation. If you’re getting up towards the land tax figure, start up discretionary trust #2, #3, #4 etc so there is no liability there.
Everything that I’ve heard tells me to use a structure of a company with a discretionary trust which is primarily designed to protect you in case of any legal problems and also to have the best taxation advantages.
