Has anyone opened a NZ bank account from here in Australia recently ? I contacted ANZ, and they said they could help with a business account, but for a personal account I would need to visit NZ and open one in person.

I am in the early stages of purchasing my first cashflow positive property (already sourced) in NZ and I need a NZ bank account.

Can anyone share your own experiences ?
