Byron- With all respect I don’t think you will get too many SPECIFIC replies. Positive cashflow deals are everywhere, but like free love in the 60’s not everybody got some. The main thing is to start honing your skills and work at creating your own finds.

All Towns have factors that affect their economic wellbeing. Isolate these factors and assess there risk to your investment portfolio.
Refards Ian LakeHello – Look at the risk factors affecting your return in that town eg; if the local mine provides all the work and accomadation demand what would happen if it closed down.

My father pays for out goings as principal residence and has pensioner discount on rates.

IanThanks for the reply Robert, but a Family trust forever is not a practical solution as a 16 acre property zoned residential requiring a lot of rates and land tax not too mention upkeep.
I am looking for independant management and some income stream. Keep the cake and eat it too.
