    Yes I think buying in an area that will maximize capital growth with strong rental returns is the go

    Thank you for the advice Kieran1
    I think the strategy for me is as you said a positive geared property that will provide a steady flow of cash in retirement. I am a bit skeptical of financial advisers and the like but I suppose if I don't get advise and keep umming and erring I will miss the boat as I am hoping to retire in 10 or so years.
