I work part-time in administration, part-time with my husband (we have our own Multimedia Business in Perth……not easy to get loans when self employed!!!!!!), hence I keep my salaried admin job and we have two children which also keep us occupied. We just came up against the same problem, as some of the lenders are picky about lending unless the postcode’s are on their list!!! Does any one ever look at country WA? There are still plenty of pos cash flow properties, but you really need to do your research as I’m sure some are dud deals.
