Are you refinancing your loan, or do you mean you are re extending your loan back to over 30 years?
Refinancing and Re-extending your loan are 2 different things.

actually i do that alot, many of the properties that are suppose to be into a binding contract, i will offer just a slight higher bid, not to much but get the contract signed immediately and have the deal sealed, before the other party who also wishes to purchase the property and finds it already sold.
There are student loans and credit cards that are available. Really you will have to go to the banks directly and have to ask. The banks that i do know that offer studnet loans are Commonwealth, Westpac and National Australia Bank, though the maximum about average a student can borrow is $10,000. actually i think it would be good for the young people, who may have 8 years or more of supperannuation, but lets say if you over 50 and you gonna retire in 15 years, i dont think it would be ideal, unless you are willin to work longer or if the pension is still around in the next 15 years.
