Purchasing in both areas, is not bad and allows for diversity. If you are not planning to retire. It would better to use your +ve cashflow properties as a product of financial management.

In doing so, you can have more finance to control a larger volume of properties.

Have to agree with Richmond and Rubbachook, been lucky and have a few properties in that area. You should be able to still connect anywhere as long as, your service provider deals in that area. Though if you do decide to go ahead with a DSL connection, you do have to remember it shares a telephone line.
