also saw a post in the archives from one of you guys who said that you had found a bank that would do 90-95% lends for an Aussie O/S investor. Who was that????
I think the bank was Kiwibank who was mentioned as doing 90-95% lends, but I think this is only for PPOR, not investment properties.
I also have tried the same banks, e-mailing them, with no response. It can get frustrating, but the best way is to call them up and explain your situation. Have you got a mortgage broker contact?
I’m heading over there next week. I hope to clarify some of the issues faced by overseas investors.

Last night about 10:30pm, Phillip wanted some attention. Mike said to him, “Go to bed, you have school in the morning”, so Phillip replied ” I need to stay up to watch the sunrise” [

Thankfully he was a sleep 1 hour later. I think he was just all hyper from seeing his grandparents and cousins when we sang “Happy Birthday” Simon ( I was carefull not to have lollies around. The worst thing I had was smarties)
Actually, we bought Phillip a ‘non-Birthday present’ so he wouldn’t feel left out, but when he opened his Play-Doh factory and asked to play with it, I said to him “Not until the family leaves’. So my little Phillip went up to his cousins and grandparents and said “You all have to go now!” [] I explained the situation to my family so that was okay, and after they left (some 30 minutes after) I played with Phillip who was very happy! No flies on my boy!Cheers

I’m interested what culture won’t let you shower for 10 days? I know that many Asian cultures have the lying-in period of 40 days, where the women top and tail, but don’t shower or take baths. I’m very curious…Cheers

I had to fight falling asleep in the second movie. Some of the action scenes were great, but otherwise it was pretty ordinary. The 1st was excellent.
I guess they don’t make movies like Altered States, Blade Runner or Highlander like they used to!

Sue, usually the first baby, you can tell the women not to push…thereafter it’s much more difficult. My midwife told me the same, because she wasn’t ready it was so quick, needless to say, Simon came 2 years ago today on his own time. []
Okay, I’m off to go bake my son Simon’s Birthday Cake (can’t decide whether to cook Chocolate or sponge cake [?]) Well he’s 2 today, so I don’t think he’d really notice either way as long as it tastes good.Cheers

Sue, with regards to writing in the snow, my hubby (then my boyfriend) and I were in Switzerland, and he wanted to go for a hike. So he headed up the mountain and in the snow with his bare fingers he wrote a love letter to me and then took a photo of it. His hands were so chilled, red and sore, but he thought it was worth it [

My 2 cents worth…
From the snippets I’ve seen, Guy seems to have oodles of talent. The other 2 have good voices, and Paulini was a diamond in the rough.
Guy, however may not have the ‘look’ the public wants, but the man sure knows how to work the music. He also seems like a nice person.
