We’ve mentioned many property investors on this forum, their seminars etc…
Which one of them has offered a forum like this?
Which one of them replies to the posts, even at the wee hours of the night?
Who has gone out to help others even though he himself is very busy?
Which one of them genuinely want to see people succeed and improve in their lives?
Who exposed his life journey in a book, to make people realise it IS possible?
That’s you Steve! You’ve given 120% of yourself for a long long time. You and Dave deserve your success. Enjoy!
I remember a little birdy saying “When you drive a car, do you look behind you or infront of you”
Look foward Steve, let the traffic take care of itself.
I think there might be an underlying issue. Something is bothering them (marital trouble?) Can you sit down with them and a mediator?
I’ve always dealt with motivated tenants so I’m kinda green here. []
vluu, you should receive my email by breaky time []
Carlo it was good to hear you turned a negative experience into a positive one. It would however be interesting to find out why these successful property investing people were at HK’s seminar.
This weekend, when I was telling some of my family about cash flow +ve property, HK’s name came up. My cousin went to school with him (same class). Needless to say, I was told some very interesting info. Then the rest of the family piped up “Oh yeah, I rememeber him…”
When you go to the free seminar, ask him “How much property does he own?”
Love the stories… Remind me why we have children???
Phillip used to like climbing under the cubicles (hard to be quick, catching a 2 year old whilst incapacitated). He gave one older lady quite a fright when he slid under her door and said ‘Boo’.
I couldn’t even stick my head or arms out to catch him []
My son’s latest is to give me driving directions from his booster seat in the back of the car “Go faster Mummy” etc.
Thanks for sharing [8D]. I agree with you about about the sharing of different experiences, too. I tried to be very brief with my post, but I could go on for quite some time about the wonderful parts of this forum, ie. the sharing, the spirit of good will, the personalities of some of the people who post[:0)] etc. And you’re right…IT’s FREE and “Free is good” (a saying pinched from my father-in-law).
So exciting!
As a midwife I get to hear some pretty interesting names, like Jinx and Summer Bee (girls names).
I’ve been elated when as an undergraduate midwife, one of my ladies, asked if she could use my name for her daughter… [8D][8D] Awesome.
I truly believe the name will come to you, when you hold your daughter in your arms and look at her. Might take a couple of peeks at her to finally settle on one though.
All the names you picked are great…my fav’s are Samantha and Zoe.
Wishing your wife an easy birth and wishing you fortitude! []
Busy day for me folks, but I thought I’d make an appearance for a change []
It’s obvious from the posts here that there needs to be a ‘Midwifery’ post somewhere in this PROPERTY investing website ([:0)]), so I might have a chat about that with Steve. What do you think? []
Let’s start using the ‘Forum Fun’ section of this website and leave the ‘Heavy’ property questions for the General Discussion area. The traffic is AMAZING!!! Let’s keep the frustration down and put things in its place.
It’s a good bonus chapter. JaneJane you asked a good question, considering that IR’s are at an all time low in about 30 years.
In brief (because you can download it) from the chapter, Steve talks about a mixture of P&I, fixed loans etc. among other things.
If I could put another spin on it…
I have Jan Somers books, I have “Streets Ahead” (Wakelin), I have Bell’s books, I have many other investing books (including ‘finance for dummies’ [:0)]), but whilst I’ve read these books and they made sense, I’m not sure I can clearly remember the messages each book offered and after a while they all become a blurr (maybe that’s because I fell asleep whilst reading them []).
With Steve’s book, it’s an easy read and the messages are clear (Just as Phobia- Matt posted earlier).
Besides, Steve’s book wins the prize for the best picture on the cover [][][]
I guess the biggest test of an investing books worth, stems from the individuals perspective of whether or not it matches your goals and can you, after reading the book, go out and replicate the process and make money…Otherwise why buy this type of book in the first place?
If you don’t want to do something and you just want to read something, why not just choose a Harry Potter book to read, because unless you want to learn something and go out and act on what you’ve learnt ..you’re just in fantasy world if you think any book is going to be of any worth!
And no I haven’t been dancing with the fairies tonight [:0)][:0)][:0)]
Okay, I’m being controversial…
(I think it’s bed time) []
Brings new meaning to the idea –
‘High Tea, served in Dining Room’
Help yourself!!!
Did they have a shower outlet nearby as well? Perhaps they were trying to make an en-suite off the dining room????
Sooty P, at least you stopped to ask directions!!! How many of you out there have partners or friends who won’t ask for directions until the sun has come down? [][:0)]
