    Hi,

    When I get time…
    CSI regular (although, I’m still getting used to CSI Miami)
    Law and Order (Criminal Intent and S.V.U)
    Alias
    Crossing Jordan (it’s okay)
    Survivor (love the psych stuff)
    Star Trek (Enterprise)
    ER
    I’m sure there is more, but who gets to watch them all?

    Cheers

    Hi,

    Yes, the T.V goes on, but Phillip likes US to entertain him. He knows that ‘Mummy’ can be very funny (at times). Besides, as long as he lies still and keeps quiet (a virtual impossibility) it’s really sweet to cuddle him. Simon is young enough, to still enjoy babbling to himself in his cot.
    I gave Phillip some Duplo to play with this morning after the ‘roll over’ song. So he played on the mat next to my bed and I sat on the floor and played with him (7am).
    Hopefully I can sleep in till 7am tomorrow.

    Wishful thinking

    Hi there,

    OOOO Pinky, She’s entering the teenage years [:P].

    Michael, (about 2 weeks ago) at Mathew Flinders resturant, was playing with Simon and Phillip on their indoor slide (curly slide). All of a sudden, Michael screeches… “Ehhh…I’m stuck”, luckily Simon and Phillip had come down first, but all the other children where now standing at the bottom of the slide, sticking their heads in trying to find the “Stuck Man”. Eventually, 3 minutes later, Michael came down sideways (???) and all the children were happy again to have their slide back.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Time: 6:30 am This Saturday morning
    Scene: our bed
    Phillip:
    “I want to come into your bed and
    sleep with you mummy and dad”
    Michael: “Errrrr”
    Me:
    “Okay, but be quiet, Daddy wants to
    sleep still”
    Phillip:
    (Now snuggled in our bed, between Mike and I)
    Michael and I: (quietly dozing)
    Phillip:
    “There was one in the bed and the little
    said, ‘Roll Over’ ‘Roll Over’, so the
    one in the middle did what the little
    one said and ‘Rolled Over’ ‘Rolled Over’
    (Phillip does a starfish and pushes his
    little bony feet into our sides –
    Ouch [B)][B)][B)])
    And they all roll
    out”
    (Mike and I now hanging onto the
    sides of the bed)
    .
    Mike and I:
    “PHILLIP” !!!
    Wouldn’t it would be great to have a robot to entertain the boys till at least 8am in the morning! [:D]
    G-d bless children [^]
    Cheers
    Hi there,
    When shopping with Simon this Wednesday arvo, the lane I went into had one trolley on one side. Usually, I like to travel in the centre of the eisle, to avoid little hands reaching for things because of their big eyes. Anyway, As I passed my trolley to the other side of the eisle, out shot Simon’s arm and unceremoniously deposited about 60 spices, salt and pepper products onto the floor. As they are in round containers, they rolled under the display shelves, people were stepping on them as I tried to pick them up before someone broke their neck. [:P]
    A while ago (about 2 years ago) Phillip, who loves to feed the plastic guide dogs money, decided to give a ‘real’ guide dog money, as the man and his dog where collecting money for the Royal Guide dog association. Luckily the dog was smart enough not to take the money.
    I’ve started giving Phillip money when we go into the fruit and vegi store and I tell him to pay the grocer. He’s great and even waits for the change [:D]!!!
    Have a good weekend
    Hi there,
    Actually, that was just one link…
    I’ve just realised today that I’ve indirectly known HK for about 18 years + , through his sister, who was in the class one year lower than I in school. I just didn’t make the correlation between his ‘now’ name and his ‘then’ name.
    If this can help you to close a chapter in your life, then that’s what I’ve posted it for.
    Let the healing begin
    Hi there,
    Reading the posts with much interest. I personally, don’t think it has much to do with property investing, but more about the type of personality you are and what you think you are capable of.
    INTELLIGENCE: the ability to learn, to understand or to deal with new or trying situations : REASON; also : the skilled use of reason the ability to apply knowledge to manipulate one’s environment or to think abstractly as measured by objective criteria (as tests)
    As far as I’m concerned the fact we are human and that we have intellect, we have the power to make choices. That is something to celebrate, methinks. By this definition, is there any reason why any person who sets their mind to doing something, couldn’t do it?
    Erika, I agree on the children part. It can make it difficult, nope I’ll rephrase that ‘IT IS DIFFICULT ‘, yet it also can motivate you to do something to better their future. Whatever works to get you to achieving your goal.
    I guess it’s about creating a balance. Like a see-saw the motion is up and down… and balance is when both sides weigh about the same. Eventually as someone gets off the see-saw, one side drops and the other side rises.
    Sometimes we need a balance of the negative persons, so that the positive ones are just that…positive. It’s a matter of perspective. Like the old argument, do you need evil in the world for people to do and see good?
    Whether it be property, shares or stocking shelves in a supermarket, there is a message for everyone. I think you need to see Steve’s book for what it is… not just a ‘how to’ but ‘how can I do it’.
    Steve has continuosly shared with us. What has it cost you to post at this forum??? Nothing…yep that’s about the sum of it. Anyone want to take a guess at how much work Steve (and Co.)puts into this forum. I think everyone would be humbled by the hours. Congratulate the man! I think he’s great. [8D]
    Everyone is capable of great things if they think they can.
    Hi there,
    Ditto.
    It’s amazing how far positivity will spread if you let it and give it a chance. Try it, you might like it or even become addicted to it.
    Hello Arty,
    Yep, I can delete the subject heading if I delete the post, but then I would have to rewrite it again, and I’m a busy girl at the present…[;)]
    Yep to the second question on the ‘spam spider’. However I’ve got filters which send it directly to junk mail. I always look at my junk mail to catch any mail sent there by accident though.
    Okay to rock’n’roll now. [8D]
