Anyone you know resemble ‘Mr Bean’? [:0)]
I agree with everyone who said get it removed or towed away (should be a tax deductable item anyway), or get the ‘cash for cars’ people out. Don’t make a ‘Hoo Haa’ out of it and just do what you think is fair under the circumstance. The more you draw attention to it, the more…[Read more]
All of you made great points [8D]. This thread obviously needs some fine tuning and then the correct forum place (perhaps this will be easier with the new platform coming soon) and then it might work.
There is a lot to consider, but as the first post mentioned, I was testing the waters. It won’t really work if I’m the only one going…[Read more]
Mini, you’re right about the waiting. Why do you think I don’t have any fingernails? (I know, disgusting habbit [])
I posted this a while ago, but since it happened agian, I thought I’d re-mention it. A friend of the family who does property developments in Victoria, saw me and we chatted and he said “Everything I’ve been building has…[Read more]
Welcome to the forum Avid reader! Thanks for your kind thoughts [8D] I should mention, I’m not doing any deals at present. I’m tying up loose ends first and doing my research. Then I’ll ‘rock ‘n’roll’ again [8D]
I think we’ll soon see how the forumites respond. We might get some deals posted we might find this post on page 20 in 2…[Read more]
Thank you both for responding. The new revised forum is not long in coming, so Slow Boy it might just be a goer at the new site, maybe not.
Slow Boy, you made a valid point. In retrospect I should have mentioned the only thing I had to gain from letting people know about that particular property is new neighbours! [:0)]
This week (I think it was Friday morning) as I was driving in to work, I heard that people were still borrowing to buy as the interest rates were still low, but the rental yeilds have dropped and that investors were feeling the pinch.
There are still ways to make money in a bear market. I’m not predicting here just surmising. I don’t…[Read more]
A Fire!!! Man, when it rains it pours. I guess everyone who reads this post will realise the importance of INSURING your investment. Thank the stars you had the wisdom to do that!
It can only get better from here.
“Rock-a-bye baby on the treetops, when the wind blows the craddle will rock”… [:0)]
I can think of some really good uses of this property…
1) Where to go to eat baked beans
2) Where to go to get away from screaming children or babies at arsenic hour
3) Where to catch the best thunder and rain acoustics
4) Where to have your ‘HAM’…[Read more]
LOL! [] At least you all worked out how the star system worked!!! One day I was looking to the left of the screen and saw these 3 red stars and thought I was earmarked for trouble, thinking my account for WRAP pack mentoring was coming to an end …
Duh! Anyone got some hours to spare in their day…it’s obvious I need some more…[Read more]
Thanks Aussierogue, I’ll just add that the article by Terry Ryder in the months (August/September) issue of API magazine is on page 66.
‘The Reno Kings’ also star in this months issue.
I’m always looking (and finding) opportunities, however I’m settling a couple of issues now and doing some research and then I’ll be hitting the gravel (so to speak).
Fell asleep after the 8th chapter and haven’t picked it up since. This was last year. My friends thought it was the best book in the world and suggested I buy it… I’m glad I’m not doing the negative gearing bit now. Ouch…my pockets would hurt big time!
We’re proud of you! [^] I hope you frame a copy (hopefully the 1st copy) and hang it on the wall, because YOU did it.
I guess, it’s like when my son brings home artwork from school, I hang it up on the board in the kitchen for everyone to see, so that it reinforces
1) what he’s learnt
2) he remembers the experience he had when doing it…[Read more]
