    Hi,

Another place I found it was on the Reno Kings website as they sell his books.

    Hope it helps.

    Hi Pen,

As I am down this way I guess I know a little about the Ski fields.

It is very seasonal, & this season wasn’t as good as last year. But that happens.
The weather patterns are a risk as we have no control over them. (If only we did!)

I don’t have any IP’s up there, but I’ve talk to someone that has got one.
Anyway this is what I know, hope it helps you a little.

I have heard that the fees to maintain them are quite high. They charge you for this & that, then add a little more on.
To get the cleaning done is tricky too. They really have this in the can up there as not much competition. Therefore charging owners a high price.
    Parking is an issue.
Check it out with the main resort up there, give them a call & find out the charges.

Very busy in winter & very quite in summer.
But it is open all year round, so that’s an advantage.
They hold lots of different things over summer & is still very pretty up there no matter of the time of year.

Just really do your research & find out all the little costs.

The area is great & I enjoy skiing, but I do need alot more practice. Always next year though.

    Good luck with it all.

    Hi all,

I did the same thing as everybody, waited & hoped, crossed fingers & toes.
It froze for me too, lines were busy at 12 o’clock also.
But I don’t know how it happened I got through & on my confirmation email form I got back had 12.10pm.
I was a bit excited as I’m not that lucky.
It was a struggle for the website as it was in overload & at 12.20pm everything went down for me, I was disconnected from the net & the screen wouldn’t come up.
So I waited & re-read my email & the money came out the next day, so I’m guessing it is all good.

I hope every one that tried so quickly gets in, as I know waiting & not knowing kills.

    Hi,
I agree with what Steve is doing it’s great.[pleased]

People will think that he is going to give it to them on a golden platter & everything is roses, but nothing is every easy. [mellow]
You just need to have a go & not give up when times get tough, believing you can succeed is the key.

I agree with Lisa as I’m in the same boat.
It will be great to have other people in the same situation to talk too.

I know I will be a happy little chappy if I’m excepted into the program.[thumbsup2]

Good Luck to all that would like this chance to make a different in your day to day life.

But that is just be opinion. [upsidedown]

    Thanks Philip for your reply.

I’ll just delete it, it won’t take much to put in the info again.

    Wow
I have flipped through 15 pages and its great to see so many replies from so many different places.

But I didn’t see anybody from my area of the country. [bawl]
The closest is Canberrra people, great city.

    Jindabyne, Snowy Mountains, NSW.

I have lived all over the place and love it here the most.

    Hi Richard,

I live in the Snowy Area in NSW.

    Jo,
Good point, as there are so many different talents around that they all have different experience in the different areas of property.

I guess I’m trying to understand it all.[blush2]

Somebody you can ask questions and not feel like an idiot, but will push you when it’s needed.
Pointing you in the right direction, that sort of thing.[dead2]

    Hope that helps Jo.

    Thanks for your replies.

I really want to get started too.
And the more I find out makes me more hungry for CF+Properties.
BUT it’s the Patience that you will need to learn, it will happen.
    Don’t jump to quick.
Research and more research is the key I think.
Lots of good info on this site to help.

    Good Luck [cap]

    Hi[biggrin]
I’m new at these posts but I find reading them very interesting.

I have enjoyed the stories, and the way you have asked the questions Destined.
    Thanks.

I am 32 and have only seriously looked at property investing in the last year, after reading Steve’s book.
This is the year for me to really make IP work.
My plan is to retire (from working hard) on my 40th birthday and have enough cashflow from my IP.
I have always travelled around, been self employed which I wouldn’t have done it any other way.
But I never really looked at the future until I hit my thirty’s and thought WOW I have to do something, so I have choosen this way. As my husband has choosen the stock market.

If only I had started in my 20’s, but no point thinking what if.
I beleive it’s never too late (hopefully) your just gotta keep trying and simply just do it.

Thanks again to all those people out their with your stories as it does help knowing it can be done.

    Thanks DD,

It does help. As Canberra is of interest.
Do you know of any that cover the country areas of NSW?
I’m researching around my area first for an IP.

    Hi,
I was interested if the real estates are the only ones that have this information or can you get it from someone or somewhere else?
    Thanks
