If you are interested in a certain area then you could go to an open inspection in that area and ask the sales agent for a list of recent sales. They usually give you a 2-3 page document of all the sales in that area for the last year or two. Otherwise I know that you can buy these records from a government department but I am not sure how (perhaps again ask your local real estate agent).
