When I brought my first paycheck home in 1980 I had $88. Was very excited and showed mum who turned to me and said "Your father makes around 11 times that amount each week" I immediately asked "where is our Mercedes then?" They spent all that they earnt every week. Dad encouraged me to buy my first car on Hire Purchase! Needless to say I carried their spending habits until I was about 35. Then I was introduced to Robert Kyosaki etc. BUT I still didn't really believe in my own ability to perform and be rich as was demonstrated when I was 38 and standing behind my car arguing with a repo man who wanted to take it there and then! It was at that point that I realised I desperately needed to change my thinking. 43 now and life is really looking up. Even my bank manager personally calls me to check if he can help with anything nowdays! Wealth is a mindset, change your mindset change your financial position

Doom and Gloom…listen to it at your peril! This world is an amazing place and if you think good things will happen to you, they will. And if you dwell on the negatives you will draw negatives to you. Change your thinking and see the opportunities, they are everywhere. Just follow your thioughts ( if they are positive) and dont look back. NO REGRETS! No-one can tell you what you are doing is wrong, 'cause its right for you. I for one am seeing investment opportunities ever other day and am actively engaging as many as I can.

Double brick houses are a result of a brilliant marketing ploy in the West 30 years ago where two rival brick companies convinced the people that double brick was the only way to go. If someone built a veneer home it became difficult to sell and the true value was not realised. Outside of Perth brick veneer homes are predominant and the only benefit of double brick here is we live on a sand plain.Simple pad on sand construction system. There is no difference in full brick and double brick that I know of, just terminology. I am currently building a reverse veneer for myself that is timber frame outside with weatherboard and single brick internal, simply because that is the best solar passive properties in our construction region. Luckily it is for my family or I would probably have trouble if I ever had to sell!!!!!!!!!
Hope you are getting an idea on these construction styles AO

    Hi Mikey,
I reckon you're spot on about KI . I have family there and have watched land /house prices for  a few years but have only been able to afford to buy in the last couple of years. Very cheap I believe and the ocean frontage is sensational! Seems to have good returns for short term accomodation homes. if anyone has been there @ xmas time you would know that accommodation is at a premium. I will be buying another asap but maybe I am biased!!!
    Good luck

I think thats about right. However it seems to be aimed at the less than confident investor! All decisions are taken care of for you. The decision to retire is one that they seem to push but I feel that is a selling point for their services.  Everyone likes that idea! Personally I want to continue the growth for as long as I can so that there is no mistake at the end where I find it wasn't enough to retire on after all. They approach developers with a deal to purchase all their dwellings at once then move them on to their investors, but at a lower than market value. I believe that is possible with a good plan of attack anyway for the individual. So what real benefit to you? my question was …Do I need this? Answer that truthfully for yourself and maybe it will give you an answer whether to go with them or not.

Could try your local fire station for a left wing approach!!! Most of them are tradies of some sort who may be interested in some small jobs on days off! I know plenty of them!

Yeah spent some time going to their meetings and listening. Quite happy with the concept and it is a system that I believe can work depending on your level of experience but was not for me as I am a renovating investor primarily. I would feel happy recommending the system to you and anyone who it suits
