I would have thought 1200 sq would allow you to build 2 4brm houses. We have a 799 block and we can put 2 large townhouses on it. If you have a planning permit for 2 dwellings you should have plenty of room for 2 good size houses. If you are in a growing area you could even fit 3-4 townhouses (strata type). I have jusr bought in gladstone qld and am not sure whether to furnish for rental. Has anyone done this? Do you supply linen too? Does the extra rent make it worthwhile or do you end up with too many ongoing costs? Looks like a great place. Investors are pouring in there.i know the big companies like furnished..

Should i be buying 2 brm apartment as an investment in gladstone or would a 3 bedroom townhouse be a better longterm investment? Any thoughts?

The contract says if they introduce you to a vendor they have a claim, but if you have seen it on R/E.com as well as on their site, after paying the upfront free to look, they haven't actually introduced you to the owner. What is to stop you making an offer through R/E.com if the buyers agent hasn't done any negotiating for you?
