HA! Me wanna be a princess?? I like burping and farting too much and I love laughing really loudly too. I don’t think that would go down too well at the royal dinner table…

I think I’ll leave it to the chicky babes who hate chipping a nail…

He’s based in UK. Went to one of his seminars when cremin and I lived in London. Basically he’s a rags to riches story. From PErth, lived in Sydney for awhile I think…

um.. Gave us some good ideas and stuff, basically along the same lines as many of the gurus, but he did the investment property bit where you can buy off them for a DISCOUNTED price if you go to their £3000 seminar (At the time that was close to $10K). We decided, um…NO!

Gave us enough to think about through the free seminar. Got heaps of email CRAP from them though. Luckily gave them the SPAM account specifically for that purpose… hee hee… Put it this way, if he is speaking at a seminar that is free or would cost under $200, then I would probably go and listen to what he had to say.

Think I have just confused everyone now….

Just realised, you can have one saint one sinner but not two sinners to one saint!! Tha’s where I’ve stuffed up!!! NOw have a go… Oh yeah it is only 2 in the boat. If memory serves me right, it should be able to be done in 11 moves.

Behind every successful woman there is no man coz she can buy them when and where she wants and can’t be bothered dealing with their freudian dick problems about women being the bread winner… blah blah blah….

George, I had my teacher voice on!! Hormones to..[baaa] I had had a bad day…..

    Here goes.

There are 3 saints and three sinners and they need to get to the other side of the river. BUT, you can’t leave a saint with a sinner because they will hex the saint to death and the saint would then go to hell. (Get the point?[blush2])Oh, but you can have a saint and a sinner in the boat at the same time….does that make sense????…[evil5]

How do they all get safely across when you can only hold 2 ppl in a boat at a time. Or was that 3 people???[withstupid]

George!! You better watch yourself!! I don’t cheat! Cremin can back me up on that one. He saw me work it out! Besides it’s the same riddle as the old saints and sinners one.

    3 saints 3 sinners, can’t leave a saint with a sinner blah blah…

    mumble mumble… who’s he to call me a cheater….

Well Cremin and I are all settled up here in extremely sunny and dry Geraldton WA.

I actually am from Perth, Morley to be exact, Redwing watch out I might actually know you!!!

    Cremin from Albany.

Gero the best place though. Sun, sand, lots of wind to cool us off and plenty of places to explore and not too many people just yet!
    Cheers

REbecca, I can empathise with your situation as my mum went through the same situation with my grandmother 13 years ago.

Where she was was not suitable as it was far away from family and all her friends were peggin it so she decided to move but her two other children couldn’t help. Not to say my parents could really having 4 children.. but hte opportunity came up to buy the house next door and they did so and we moved nanna from Bribie Island to Perth. A huge move for a 74 year old!

She paid my father rent which was minimal and it turned out he was giving her money back… Anyway to cut a long story short, my parents sacrificed a lot to have my grandmother come over so she could be a part of our life and to give her a better quality of life too.

It eventuated that she needed somewhere smaller so she moved into my parents house. They now rent out the other house, she still pays them a little bit of board money and my parents know she is safe and sound. It is a little bit of a hassell from time to time but there has never once been a thought of a home for her at all.

Could you not work it out so that perhaps your mum could live with you. I mean my parents extended their home to make a mini living area for her. She hardly ever comes out of her place (More so now coz she finds it difficult to walk but you know…) You need to sit down and ask yourself questions about how important your mum is to you. Could you build a separate granny flat thingo for her on your existing property and sell the other or rent out the other place? Have you asked her what she wants? What benefits would she bring to your family if she were to live with or close to you? Ours was babysitting my younger brothers… Oh and the constant flow of cakes and biscuits…

And to boot she is what I would consider one of my best friends and I don’t know what I would do without her…

Then again, this is from a granddaughters perspective. I know it was hard on my parents financially especially repaying a house during the last major recession plus helping her survive… But I figure, they were dedicated and the benefits out weigh the downfalls…

GO with what your heart tells you. Discuss it with everyone involved directly in your life and see whay will work for everyone. You will work it out.

Good luck and sorry this message was so long.
    Steph.

Geez I’m glad we don’t allow pokies in our pubs or anywhere other than Burswood casino here in WA! Let’s keep it that way as far as I’m concerned!

Oh yeah, for those people who visit here and think it strange that we don’t have sunday trading in the suburbs, get over it because we like our leisure time here in the west and I am hoping our state government keeps it that way. I see it that the all the low income earners and uni students/school students would be working the sunday jobs and when is their sanity/leisure time. It would be a world gone mad…

My opinion on Sunday trading in the suburbs, and it is coming from someone who worked in the retail industry for 10 years.

    ohhh, Mt Lawley, lovely area….

Have to agree with Wembley units. Mate used to live in one of the bigger high rise and something was constantly wrong with it. Older vintages… maybe they didn’t expect them to be their this long??

Confirmation on the baby front. You must have cover for at least 9 months prior to getting pregnant to be eligible for most private health cover.

I was told that when I recently came back into the country and had to start my policy up again. Luckily mine was suspended so Cremin and I didn’t have to do the waiting game again… Phew….

Goo dluck with baby plans. Hopefully we shall be thinking along those lines soon….(Let’s hope Cremin reads this one…)

    Good luck.

    Monopoly,
You read my husbands reply wrong. He said $20K for a deposit. Not a property. And no we don’t live in the sticks. We go to the end of our driveway and look at the ocean….
