Thanks for the link Jane. Lots of questions can be asked to determine integrity of builders/tradies. Generally,subbies that are happy over a period of time with your bulider is a good sign. Many builders don't  put their name to a title, but it doesn't hurt to do a title search on a builders place of residence. Caveats can say a lot, even if it's in his partners name. Out of interest, what was the dodgy sting perpetrated by your tradie?
