i guess it really depends where you are buying, in orange they charge me 8.8% and in ryde nsw 5%…thats a big variance to me

i have tried it myself, without any experience my tennant decided not to pay rent, then refused to move out and when they finally did there was damage.  i learnt plenty from my experience at a cost of around 4k definately worth having someone more experienced manage it

i dont know if you can stretch your budget to around 250k but a friend of mine bought near redcliffe, margate i think and with the new tunnels the trip from those places to the city will be reduced so worth having a look there
