Its a bit like Canberra, when you sort of own the land but then you dont, 99 year lease.
Backhanders? Well mate if you dont know what that means then maybe you should study federal politics circa 1900-2004 pardon the pun
Heres a link that may help.

Watch your step there my freind, most of my in-laws live around Fiji and if people really knew what was really going on there? You wouldn’t touch it with a barge pole.
But saying that, I have studied it exstensively and some places are good some bad. Just make sure its freehold and not on crown lease.
You can get some good gov finance deals to. Lots of American, Canadian, NZ and Oz investors. If you want the good deals then be prepared to do the back door backhanders, its just the way business is done over there.
I was there 4 weeks ago snooping around but its just too unstable for me at the moment.
My brother in-law was a senior detective there for 15 years and if you only knew the hidden agenda’s and corruption taking place at all levels you would run a mile. My advice would be to sit and wait until they sort out their economics.
If you have 300k in gettable cash, become a citizen of Canada and invest in Alberta Province, that’s where Im gunning for.
But that’s just me…….

The trading post online is a good one http://www.drive.com etc. Cheap vans that “GO” are hard to find, even harder with long rego. Being a builder/smash repairer/ sales rep/ only child myself I will give you some sound advice.
Go for the good old VN Commodore, fold the back seats or remove them, put some racks on the puppy and she will be all go go go.
I know plenty of people doing the same and they are reliable and cheap as chips. Forget the van, nothing but drama’s bud.

I have a concept that I have been evolving for quite some time, if you are interested read on.
My theory is very simple but not easy as you may have to do some ground work.
You have to work out the birth, death and immigrant rate as well as population statistics in regards to growth rate coinciding with modern medicine. Throw in a few economic scales and know your geography and you should be able to pick winning area’s within Australia based on………wait for it……….The gool old united States of America.
Similar landmass if you exclude Hawii and Alaska and the same junk food!
Not trying to take the piss either Pisces because I am one too![blink]
So what do you think? Horses for courses and we are pretty much mini Australican anywayz [lmao]

The good thing about the seven year itch is that most people have short memories Corey, they loose the excitment and enthusiasm and search for something more.
Look at all the reno shows on tv, that got the mums and dads off their asses to create equity and use it!
The reno shows wont be around forever or “Hot Auction” type shows have a finite lifespan and I think the next group of shows maybe “how to kidnap your boss” or “my fish and chip shop rules”, focus will go from property but us smart ones will always be sniffing around like little mice, the quiet achievers….

Yeh, I am so desperate that I have now come down to quoting part of my own post.
All I read is complaints.
I don’t however see anything about how to combat
being robbed, how to stop being used, how to get these absurd decisions reversed.Decisions reversed ?
Yes, yes, yes, that CAN be achieved but not by being quiet, sitting on one’s hands, silently crying about being bled to death.
ACTION is needed.
Organised action.
Act now or repent later at your leisure.
If you aren’t prepared to act NOW do you really
think you will do something about it later ?Who do you think you are kidding ?

The information that I gave him came out the opposite when I watched his story on A Current Affair, its all bull. Look at how Media watch crusified TT for the story on the single mum! Then try and make stevo out to be a bad egg…….Im not into tit for tat crap and I reckon Stevo has the runs on the board and by the look of it a few good mates here.

To right Yack, the good times are gone and I have to feel a little sad for the newbies who purchased realties over the last 12 months.
Sometimes I wonder about these sales guys, I phoned one a few months ago who had been chasing me for a long time. I made a promise that if I ever sold my own place that I would put it the hands of the most determined. Still haven’t had a call??
Whats going on Yack!

Can you still buy a 2 bedda apartment at Cheveron island for under 165k? I think not, even though they got hit hard at the start I feel that had they hung on they would still be in front today.
Time can heal the wounds if you can stand the pain, the alternative is to hack off the limb!
