Great news!
I’ve just got off the phone to Lagos and direct debit is just what my friend needs!
What will you do with your 20% commission, Guru? I might start a post to see if someone knows if this is taxable.
Okay, then.
I have this Nigerian friend, who – you wouldn’t believe his luck! – has just inherited the equivalent of US$10 million.
BUT – some student activism has meant that he is on the government’s “wanted” list.
So, he’s just wants someone to send the money to and will give 20% to any kind Australian willing to do so.
All you have to do is send your bank account details. Perhaps you should just post them to this forum so that it will save time should anyone else offshore have this same problem.
Chan$, I’m not asking for your support on that pursuit.
However, I may suggest it to the wife.
(Still waiting to see how long it takes for a moderator! See what you’ve done, Chan$! You’ve scared them all away on this stream.)
Question for a Queenslander. Is the commission structure mentioned as part II of Snorky’s original post legislated (or at least consistent for all agents) or is it flexible?
Moderator attention grabbing device:
[Attention grabbed – please keep the pottymouth off the forums. Brent]
Thank Christ for that.
Or you change your philosophy. Let’s assume the return is COCR is 0%. It’s still not costing you anything and you have the potential for capital gains.
A few % CG on $45K is more substantial than you’ll get on a savings account.
You may lose your post records.
Redraw = you have the money already and it’s surplus on your loan
Re-finance = changing the size or terms etc of your loanMortgageHunter is right in asking your aim. These are not usually interchangeable tactics.
Not unless I had something genuine to tell them off about. In my experience, the real pr1cks are colleagues or roadblockers in other departments. My bosses have rarely been unreasonable people (provided that you always ask yourself “what would I have done if I was in their shoes”).
Now, telling some colleagues where to go is a different story altogether.
Just before you sod off, Carey, perhaps you could explain why you’re promoting a site from Slovkia and its relevance to Australians (and the occasional import). ‘Cause if I knew this, I’d fair dinkum give you a blank cheque.
Carey, you’re a genius in a way only Henry Kaye could understand.
SIS: Not sure what your last post means but it does make me shiver just a little.
SIS speaketh sense on this one.
Prediction : It will be gone by the time I return from lunch.
I watch in awe – little old me down in the hundreds. Maybe one day I, too, can match the “achievements” of others on this forum.
Chan$ – on an earlier post in this thread you say you rent. Didn’t you say in another thread that you bought your PPOR?
Why are you renting?
SIS, On the assumption you’re not taking the p1ss, Argentina’s currency has “recently” been devalued by around half against the USD.
SIS,
What student union newspaper did you get that spiel from?
Stick to investing, not economics.
Your observation that the AUD fell as the USD rose was quite profound. Especially as in the vernacular most often used, the AUD is measured against the USD. On this basis, these two currencies have a direct, inversely proportional relationship. If one goes down, the other HAS to go up and vice versa.
Rubba
PS: What ARE you talking about re the banks?
PPS: I’m in with Aussierogue for another $500Let’s not forget, though, that nothing in the law itself has changed with this. We all are (should have been) doing this anyway.
And thanks to the Destiny VIP Update.
Naughty SIS – you should give credit where it’s due!
