I would also like to hear peoples opinion on this fixed rate rise. Is this an indicator of rates rising in the near future? Also i know that it is hard to predict in this specific time, but what are peoples predictions for the next couple of years regarding Interest rates.
would anyone have steve mcknight "0-130 properties in 3.5 years" that i could buy? im in melbourne.
thanks for your help everyone. i think i will go ahead and restructure the loan. the variable rate i am being offered is 4.94% which is close to half of what i was paying. even if it the breaking cost does equal the same amount of interest i would have paid in two years, i dont want to regret not having the opportunity of the low interest rates for the next 5 years, if i do decide to fix in the near future.
thanks guys. i think i will wait tiill the market is on the rise again before i decide anything. hopefully this will be soon
hey guys,
im new to the investment game. was reading the forum and got thinking about the idea to renovate my ip and sell for profit. i am currently living in it at the moment for the first home buyers grant. if i was to sell it and make a profit, that would pay off the bank and i could buy, renovate and sell again…..and so on. would there be a bank fee for paying off the loan, and if so does anyone know how much they sting?
any help would be good as this option has just opened my eyes to a new way of making money. im an electrician so not afraid to get my hands dirty with renovating,
thanks in advance for any help
thanks very much for all your help guys. i think i will go with a pm soon.
thanks againI am in the same predicament in Melbourne. I have tried three different accountants in the last three years and they all have that same bad attitude towards giving one on one service.
Can anyone recommend and accountant who i can trust and also has expertise in the property field.
Thanks
thanks for the info. much appreciaed.
think i will continue to pay the principal which would make it a shorter time before i can purchase IP number 2.thanks
hey all,
First time on the forum. i have bought my first investment property and like everyone else in here would like to establish a healthy port-folio.
just a couple of questions:is it still possible to create equity quickly if it is a "interest only" loan?
and
would anyone know if there is a fee for changing a fixed loan to interest only if that is the better option.would appreciate feedback as i am just starting off in the investment game.
thanks
