“IT IS YOUR DECISIONS, NOT YOUR CONDITIONS THAT DETERMINES YOUR FUTURE”
I DON’T TRUST SUPERANNUATION.
Sorry if I offend anyone.
Regards JoyAt the beginning of this year I was offered 20ac
on the edge of town about 1/2 in 1:100 year flood
for 1.2m. After several discouraging meetings with council and lack of energy to raise funds, decided to pass. Property sold at Auction 2 months latter for 2m. Now Hubby won’t let up.Regards Joy

topic)“If you fix your rates then it isn’t too much of an issue. I fixed mine at 5.89% for three years for settlement next week. I found it does give an element of peace of mind.”???
MortageHunter,
I always thought rates were set at the day of settlement. The offer ususally being market less discount. Please advise if I’m mistaken.Regards Joy
Thanks for the pay rise.

Thanks Bill
I think I’m guilty of this one
Keep them coming.
Cheers Joy
David please keep being opinionated, some of the the waffle I am in reading in this sight does’nt tell anybody anything.
An opinion from someone is always a good place to start your investigation, you can then either agree or disagree, once you have satisfied your own mind. Good luck with the study.
Regards JoyCan you be a bit more specific about the SE part. I know the sun sets in the west and after that I lost unless you say between Sydney and Melbourne of Brisbane & Cairns.
Regards JoyI just did a search and came up with this.
Doesn’t help much but maybe you could search further. I would be interested to know how many bids they can have also.http://www.reiv.com.au/members/pg_members_auctrulesofconduct.html

As Kay said maybe you could wrap, I’m sure like everything else there are good and bad deals to be had. If your handy you might make up the 20% and then some to get yourself started again.
Good luck.
JoyAgain thanks to all who have replied.
I always believe there is an easier way and I reckon if enough people throw in their 2 bits worth, someone will come up with it and hopefully share.
Don’t forget they used to light fires by rubbing two sticks together.
Regards Joy.Thanks everone for the tips so far, please keep the comments coming, even as to how you all organise your paper files for multiple properties.
I have looked at the 2 programs suggested so far and previously at MYOB. I am just interested to know as many options as possible.
Each to their own as they say.
P.S. No critiscism taken, so please even if you think your system may not be the best, it may be the one I would prefer.
Thanks Joy.I can’t believe my eyes over 100 people have read my message and only 2 people have a suggestion.
Where are all the experts, does the silence mean its a secret or does everyone have a big mess.
Please speak up. If the answer is in the treasure chest, I tried to get in, but it was locked.Joy.
Thanks Ca$hking and annaw2.
Firstly I found a copy of Money and will try that and let you know how I go.
Secondly to annaw2 I to have a file (some on the bench, some in my brief case, some in a filing cabinet, some in a spreadsheet, some on the dining room table and finally some at work)
Almost forgot todays mail still on the coffee table. Maybe I need more than a program. Thanks for the tips.

I did this to a large house and followed the criteria set out in Residential Development Control Plan No 58. In short my building has to retain the appearance of one dwelling. Could only have one front door, we had access to the second property from the back. The floor space on one dwelling does not exceed 60M2. 2 car spaces shall be provided for the larger dwelling and 1 for the smaller dwelling. The rent is good on Flat and 3/4 m.v on main house as son & d.i.l. live there. Good luck.
