I recall reading recently about options and i think the artical mentioned that a portion of stamp duty
is payable by the option holder if they onsell the option. Not 100 percent sure, but check it out.
    May vary state to state.
    Cheers.

    Hi Mac,
I'm just down the road at Melton.
Have you or do you intend to invest in your area?
    Thanks.

Used the uretek system about 18 months ago and it worked amazing. Had a double storey town house in melb. where the outside bearing wall sunk 30mm and needed to be raised and underpinned. Instead of underpinning, i contacted uretek and they came in for one day and injected the two part mix and it lifted the slab back to the original possition. It cost about 15K to lift 10m of outside slab. After they had finished, i had to repair a small amount of brick work which had cracked from sinking. Highly recommended. No mess and quick

I have invested in Bacchus Marsh and i have had no problems with getting renters.Being about 42 kms from Melb, it is still "cheap" to buy in and rents are fairly strong. With the new Deer Park by pass completed and construction started on the Anthonys cutting by pass (between Melton and Bacchus Marsh) the trip to city will cut down to approx 30 min. Vline trains also stop at B/Marsh
