We have done personal coaching with Agents – after they became so curious about our Renovation formula… same with Tradies and even our Accountant…. Have you thought about becoming an Investor instead of an Agent?

There are a few Investor meetings in Melbourne, check this forum for them, get along to a few of them and start asking LOTS of questions. There are some truly amazing Property Investors in this forum, always willing to help out where they can.
You’d have to get the house built and have a C of O (Certificate of Occupancy) this would mean having a kitchen and bathroom/toilet installed and working. You would come across warranty issues, as in who has warranty for what- if there are any issues after the C of O. I’m not aware of many builders that would take this type of job on
Just found this thread. Has anyone else signed for the Bunnings Credit Card? Any thoughts on the fine print? For experienced renovators this could be very handy but for the weekend warriors it could be a trap.
Start at your council Make sure you can subdivide before going any further. What state do you live in? There are quite a few property investment meetings that you can find in this forum- get along to one and further your education with people doing it successfully
How long were the previous tenants in your property? Is it requiring a a quick paint or new carpets to bring it up to the standard in the area? Agree with the pet option mentioned above too
Orxy, Welcome to our country & to this forum We prefer to use Solicitors but you’ll find on this forum that many investors use either conveyancers, dependant on their experience & the project they are tackling
Henry, There are many Mentor programs available, it really depends on what route you wish to pursue- eg renovation/development and alot has to do with your financial structure and end goals. Have a look around this forum, you’ll see you can become fairly savvy by asking or searching for answers in here
You may want to get in touch with Troy Harris who is a developer in the Eastern suburbs of Melb. He runs a monthly property meeting called Active Property Network, he’s also on this forum. I’m sure he’d be able to put you in touch with the right people
Have a look around your area for fully renovated properties (same bed and baths) that have sold recently and see what they have done. Also agree that a great Agent will point you in the right direction if you are unfamiliar with the area
