R.G.Allen was brought to Australia by promoter Ronnie Kagan, a former partner of Henry Kaye..
Mr Allens workshop promotions are similair to those of local wealth spruiker George Mihos..from the ‘Today not Tomorrow ” institute..
In R.G.Allens ad’s he claims “I’m on the prowl again-looking for a small group of ordinary people who want my help in creating instant wealth, like i have for countless others”
Mr Kaye faced charges of alleged misrepresentations in the federal courts this year over a series of advertisements claiming to make people into property millionaires in 6 months without using thier own money.
The ACCC brought these charges against HK, but so far has not stopped to intervene R.A..
Neil Jenman and denise Brailey were at the Sydney meetings on Tuesday and voiced concerns..
The ACCC said a lot of spruikers are going underground, using direct marketing, the internet and phone calls to get to people.
The ACCC has taken action against HK advertising and a group called ‘Wildly Wealthy Women’
Slightly negative huh.. however , make up your own minds, i’m sure many of the ideas have some merit

Here’s my preliminary thoughts:
1. I purchase a suitable property for mum to live in, paying $1/wk rent to me. I pay all rates etc. Any losses are a tax deduction.
rent has to be ‘at market value’ $1 will send BIg alarm bells ringing and cause you huge headaches, remember , fruad is a federal offence, doesn’t work like that my friend2. She rents her home out to a third party, for a similar rent and continues to pay rates etc. I receive part of this rent.A similair rent, being $1 ? and you get ‘part’ of this…50c ?? i’m confused
WYour Mum only pays these costs if she sells.. why not her rent out her place, move into a smaller and cheaper place, pocket the difference, you have not mentioned any figures, so it’s hard to guess answers..i’ll be blunt here ( unlike me) are you trying to help your mum, or yourself ? the goals are different

Form used to be 221D ( lot of old posts on this topic ) now is 15-15, speak to your accountant.
Margaret Lomas promotes this approach, i believe Yack ( from memory ) uses it also..
Noel Whittaker suggest not to use it as a little each week will surely be wasted, better to have a lump sum return..
s’up to you..do you want more $ in hand now or lump sum when you have rates etc etc coming in and you may need it..?
Or put a large ‘Chunk’ of your non-deductible loan with your return..

I’d presume there’d be some intersting info there from reading his books, presumably he’d make things applicable to the Australian market..

PS- Is it just me or are a lot of Hans Jakobi’s ad’s like Robert Allens.. down to the ‘yellow’ highlighting, check out the property magazines and ESI.. have you read the ca$h cow book ?

In a lot of areas termites are ‘always’ around, they love a dripping tap also..
I’d still get a check done ‘especially structural’,makes me feel better, note a lot of ( most 0 inspectors will not go into narrow spaces..
regular checks would be essential , watch out for dodgy operators ‘watering’ down thier products too !

I’d say even with your deposit, you’d need ‘some’ form of income also..maybe get a part time job for the interem..

The Box shaped ‘things’ that you can install above your widows, usually wood covered with a material that matches your furnishings or in the case of one of my IP’s , as the owner was a carpenter..it was stained wood, matched the skirting boards.. looked great !

Look at similair properties for rent in the area, ‘Gordon Gecko’ may think Greed is good but it’s better to have a quality long term tenant than waiting forever for a tenant because your rents are to high for the area, and you wont budge.. be realistic..

modernise the property on the cheap, look at current display houses, magazines for ideas
