I got to know Jeff (SIS) on this Forum and conversed with him by e-mail off the forum a few times, I still recall his Domino Theory Thread and the Interest it Generated amongst others
SIS, PROPERTY GURU and JET$ were like the Three Amigos back then
On his tip I went over to Aussie StockForums when it was still a small number of members; He went onto trading shares and CFD’s and from memory took to it like a duck to water
Still can’t beleive it.. [glum2]

I have Loans at $529k and Value at $1,210,000.00 for a LVR of 43.7% (great work mate)
Potentially you could take out $200k from equity and control a reasonable share portfolio to assist with income and another IP , guessit ll depends on where you want to go?
With the rising equity you’ve had in your properties, why did you “have” to sell though for the cashflow reasons; could your equity not have assisted?

I believe they prefer new properties and would probably be good if you wanted someone to “hold your hand” through the process.
I went to a meeting a few Months back to try the biscuits because Dazzling keeps talking about them (very nice and not a bad cuppa), nothing staggering during the meeting and a lot more info foud here and at SS via the “search function”.
Didn’t meet a researcher, but met some other Investors which is probably the best bit

Just reviewing my post here as we approach the final days of 2006 and enter 2007
My Initial Goal re: Investing is to acquire $1M in Property Assets this year, Long Term it will be $1M in Equity ;o)
Done…Total property portfolio assets are at approx $1.4M thanks to the recent WA boom
Sub Goals will be another IP in 2006 and leveraging into some Blue Chip Shares for yield..looking at how to bring these goals to fruition now..
Didn’t purchase an IP this year though I’m not far away from doing so; leveraged into an Income based Managed Fund and will increase my holdings in 2007as well as look at several other options.
If CG in WA is at least 10%, then without much Effort I should reach the $1M mark in Property Assets
10% it seems was aiming low back then as the market achieved a lot more than this, then again i like to err on the side of caution
2007 should be a big year and i’m working on my goals for the forthcoming year

We were out driving around looking at property in a cheaper suburb as an investment about two years ago DrX and as we came around the corner of a particular street saw a toddler ( I’m presuming about 1 1/2 yrs old) in the middle of the road and stumbling across, I quickly pulled up right there, jumped out and picked her up (presume her..had a pink top?).
Anyway, I looked around and couldn’t see anyone about, my wife parked the car on the side of the road and I backtracked where i thought the baby had come from and walked around the side of the first house and saw a male and female in the garden working, I asked them if the baby was their’s and they jumped up and said “yes”!!??,looking very confused….so i explained i’d just found her in the middle of the road, anway, I then watched the wife EXPLODE at the husband, “you were supposed to be watching her” etc etc
Said my goodbye’s and departed…….if you’ve got kids watch em close, as that kid on TV used to say “they’re slippery little suckers”.

Dave and I had a great run in business and were greatly blessed through our property and other businesses. Through our success we realised we had different goals and ambitions, and so amicably divided up our wealth.
On the 30th June we went out to lunch, shook hands and wished each other all the very best for the future.
As part of the deal, Dave retained ownership of the properties as I resigned as a director and shareholder of the entities that controlled the property. In the same way, Dave resigned as a director to our other business interests – including PropertyInvesting.com P/L..
I make it no secret that I am ‘starting again’ as it were and have acquired two properties in the last few months – a billboard (+ve cashflow) and a 4-unit development site.
