Asking price about 435K and rent is about 380 week; Yes it’s investment property.
I understand there is ‘good side’ & ‘bad side’ in Zillmere, not sure which side this property falls into.
I was in 2 minds whether to try or not but positive side is huge as the properties in this area is appreciated by more than 20% in last 12 months; so I decided to give it a try.
It’s costing me about 7.5K+GST(including Hydraulic engineer & landscaping). My worry is the wording council used in pre-DA; it says it’s highly unlikely to support the variation to stop setting the precedent.
wow…Chatswood & BoxHill, I llived in both the places (BoxHill in 2001)and prices exploded there…….looks is already hot (809 sqm is on market for 1.4 M)…I am thinking of looking at nearby suburbs which didn't catchup yet fully. Any opinions about Aspley woud be greatly appreciated.

After reading Benny's reply I also agree with him. Was on a whirlwind tour of Brisbane (first time to Brisbane) and visited properties in Alderley, Kedron, Chermside, Nundah, Fortitude Valley, City in Upper Roma street, & Coopers Plains etc.
Thanks westnblue, the property I am looking at in Alderley is about 800 sqm land with two road facing in about high 500's. Do you think its an okay deal?
I am new to Brisbane property market and visiting the city this weekend to visit some properties in Alderley, Coopers Plains & Chermside. It would be great if you guys can give some information about these suburbs.
