Thanks for the advice. We have gone simple, no clutter and keeping natives of the same variety. We have gone with bark and native plantings. We plan to hold onto the property so in the long term it will pay off. []

Nelson, Blenheim area has the highest number of sunny days in NZ. Top of the south island for those that aren’t sure. Auckland area is definitely getting more and more sub-tropical with more rain and humidity. Christchurch is getting drier with less rain fall.[8D]
