Maybe we could get Guus Hiddink to coach the wallaby’s.

2MMM in Sydney has a guy on late Sat nights called the Kiwi Backpacker, and even he’s given up on rubbing it in (no fun anymore) He simply said sack the coach.

And now we have the Rugby League to deal with.[blush2]

Is the Howard Gov getting a big backlash already.

A bi-election on the Northern beaches of Sydney was the worst defeat for the liberals ever. The blue ribbon seat went to an independent in a landslide.

Ok many other issues here.John Brogden’s old seat, leader of State opposition, who stood down in disgrace over inappropriate remarks at a function.

Without personal experience of that electorate, I can comment on Sydney in general and that is we are sick of politicians who are completely out of touch with people and whats going on in there live’s

I think that vote yesterday was a cry of defiance and get your act together Gov’s in power or go.

Todays Tele (Sydney) has Ponting saying kasper is his choice.
Reason, lee provides the fire, Mcgrath & Warne the accuracy & experience.
This leaves one place for a toiler to hold up an end (kasper)

Mo Mathews wants Magilla Gorilla ( Mo speak for Magill ) but he would being a spinner.

What does the Trentbridge pitch do?
A lot of runs for the bats I think

    Go Ozzies

2 all in the cricket, Ozzies retain ashes being current holders.

And for that game called soccer, oops… I meant “football”, how did that game go against the Danes?

Rugby Cup holders, yes but not won since.

I live in Sydney so may be a little different

    $3500 is standard mgt fee

$1000 per yr levy is cheap

$9500 caretaking is questionable, there should be a written quoate/job description of services to be rendered eg, cleaning, mowing, lights, etc.
Given this is nearly $200 per week I would expect most of the day would be spent there. If not then this is expensive.

    Cheers

The last time I insured with NRMA (back in 80’s) it was an Agreed Value policy

Most others at the time were Market Value policy, meaning less payout money, hence cheaper premiums.

Hotquoate I can’t help you with.

I guess read the fine print and chose the comfortable with option

    Cheers

    Alpina,

    Hi

There are at least a couple of Paddo residents here who may be able to help, although Melbear has been quiet for a while

    Mel, miss your posts

Only thing I’ve heard re Paddo is about the new Westfield at nearby Bondi Junction affecting the shopping strip, but this should not affect residentual housing IMHO

Certainly a nice suburb, the latest Boystown lottery is at 80 Underwood St, worth a ticket for a good cause

Long term growth sorry can’t say, but I do remember saying to myself $50k for a terrace in Alexandria as crazy in 1980.

    Cheers

I think it was Bob Proctor who said a lot of not so well of people would like lots of money so they have no problems anymore

He says wealthy people have lots more problems, the diference is they concentrate on solving problems and create money as well

The diference looks sutble, but is actually huge

Steve says this as well i think

    Cheers
