Hi there
am reasonably new to this game and one thing I would like to become more confident in is the negotiation process. Is there a fixed proceedure or standard offer ie say offer 10000K less or does it depend on the individual property.
thanks pennePS Derek
Noted your comment about having 2 PPOR whilst one is being sold. What is the criteria for this?
Cheeers Pennethanks derek
intend on letting PPOR as holiday accom short term only whilst living in and selling new IP which we then hope to use as deposit on next venture rather than having to reuse equity in original PPOR again. Is there any cathes to this we have spoken to accountant about scenario and he seemed OK with it. Any other suggestion ???
Thanks Pennealso new to this game but have similar situation.Have currently ppor which has more than doubled in value in past 18 months. We are building IP which we intend to live in and sell and in meantime rent out PPOR as holiday beach house. Any views or advice as to which would be the most effective way to structure this would be great am excited but wary
cheers penne[aacool]hi there[shades2]
we live on the south coast and are in the process of building investment property which we would like to continue to do on annual basis but would like to get involved with bigger projects beach house development etc. Capital growth has been huge down here which we have benefitted from with ppor and reg scour local re agents and newspapers, although bargains are getting harder to find, plus great place to live cheers penne[shades2][biggrin]Hi myself and hubbie have completed our own home 12 months ago as owner/builders(he’s a carpenter which helps). We probably saved in the vicinity of 50 grand and got a quality product at the end. If you are willing to do your homework and get out there and get quotes it is certainly worthwhile. You get exactly what u want and wwe came in under budget. We are currently building ip with project builder and have come up against obstacles every step of the way, i certainly wont go down that track again good luck penne
