Hi Symo
What is your property investment strategy? There are so many strategies that you need to get your head around.
Just because you know and like Adelaide does not mean that it will achieve your long-term goals of property investing. Remember that property investing is a long-term game that you have to play in order to be successful.

What is your property investment strategy?
Knowing your why and strategies for property investing is the first step towards answering the question you asked, that is whether to buy a unit or townhouse in Altona.
If I may ask, what is your goal or reasons for buying an investment property in Altona? It is for capital growth or yield?

Knowing your why and strategies for property investing is the first step towards answering the question you asked, that is whether Point cook or Melbourne west. This will reduce any confusion that you may have and get you on the right path in securing your financial freedom.
If I may ask, what is your goal or reasons for buying your first investment property in either Point cook or Melbourne west? It is for capital growth or yield? What is your investment timeframe? Are you investing purely for tax deductions? etc….

Email MeHi Blagger
Could you please share with us the reasons given as to why Cranbourne was suggested to you for an OTP purchase and how does this purchase fit with your objective of reducing your tax bill.
To reduce a tax bill, if that is the only goal in property investing, one should be looking at a negative greared property.
Thanks
