Michael your a legend, I cant tell you how much I appreciate any help. Ill shoot through an email tomorrow. I believe in good Karma – so it must be coming back to me in some way
Thanks mate
NicGday Michael – thanks for your thoughts. My idea is to start quite small, finding a niche market and selling products or a product of some sort. I want to gradually increase my advertising and money I put into the business as I go.
Im just not sure if im going the right way about it all – I dont want to outlay a few thousand dollars only to realise I have gone about it all the wrong way.
Hence needing a mentor, or someone who can steer me in the right direction as far as building up the right skills to take it on.
cheersthanks Tracey!! Your a star
Hi Tracey – can you pm me the rich dad group info? Would be much appreciated!

Thanks S – just checked it out and it looks like a great website! Plenty of reading for me here – hopefully something amongst it I can put into practice. Its like a game really trying to find that one piece of information that creates a new idea. Fun though!

S – good advice – we have been planning kids for awhile and are finding that making the decision have kids is easy, but making it happen is a different story.
If anyone can give me some ideas on websites to assist with creating business ideas etc that would be great. Its like the baby scenario – its easy to make the choice to have one (a business), but following through and making it happen isn't quite so easy!!Cheers

Cheers Oneiricer – Im starting to feel better about what my gut was telling me. It is hard to build up such a varied amount of knowledge but feel like we cant act on it. In some ways I have felt very impatient and that I need to make things happe. I think your advice is sensible and if I can continue to learn and pay down the mortgage, coupled with gains in equity, I will hopefully be in a great position to invest in a couple of years time. I appreciate all the help and goodluck with decisions aswell.

I am looking into internet biz's and also leasing a coffee van for a period of time. Lots of ideas, its just putting something in place! I don't have any previous business experience but everyone starts somewhere. I would like to build up something and eventually employ someone else to do all the work. Thanks again S

Thanks S – yes married, we are in Tassie, things are yet to bottom here, but with jobs losses I can see some desperate sellers in the next year or so. We are thinking of having kids in the coming years, so this would erally pressure us. I have a few ideas to set up a business and create extra income, pay down our mortgage, then invest in a few years time. This may be the safest option at the moment, but I will take any ideas out there. Thanks again

Arabian wrote:pagey23, I'm fairly familiar with the Mildura area…I'm wondering how recent your research data is?Although Mildura has been on the radar as an inland growth area in Commercial and Investment property, I would urge you to double check investment strategies for Mildura/Sunraysia. Just my opinion though.
Thanks Arabian – I have just been reading some of Margaret Lomas' books, and it seems to be an area she keeps referring back to as it has sustainable long term growth prospects. It ticks alot of boxes for me but I am yet to be told of the negatives so if you could give me any extra detail I would much appreciate it. Cheers
thanks Sienna for your reply its much appreciated!!!

real estate agent told me if i thought the drought was going to break then Mildura is a great place but if i thought it would continue. then not to invest. It has enough employment to keep people coming in but im not sure the incomes are those that can afford high prices. Its still one of my favourites as i have been there many times and impressed with the town. Its on my shortlist and sometime in the next year i would love to buy there.
cheers for the advice gibbo
