Probably need to do some reading, like comparing apples and oranges, they both fruit but different issues growing.

ASX site has good info for people considering LPT,s Endless info available on web forums, or just googling on other investment ideas.

First thing is to have clear in your mind is what you aiming to achieve, growth, income, tax effectiveness and where you at in life, starting out or ready to retire?
    cheers

There are a few of these products around now, basicaly referred to as negative amorisation in the US and UK.

     Not always viewed favaroubly.

First to set up in Australia was Bill Zheng through his Investors Direct organisation.
Few posts on various forums comparing this type of product and capitalising a LOC.

Terry, Can i ask your opinion on other alternatives
Would a LOC that had the ability to enable some capitalisation ie where you serviced debt with debt for several years be better way to go?
    cheers

Can you help her buy it, ie is in her name from day one, she gets fhog and she simply refinances when she can and pays you back (with or without some agreed interest?)
good luck and congrats to her for getting underway[biggrin]

Hi all,Im pretty new on this forum, been a reader for awhile.

Something i also remember from the article la aussie refers to is banks and big corporates doing leasebacks can have some very clever “out” clauses that need checking by a lawyer.
No point paying a premium for a commercial only to find the tennant does a clever runner when you least expect it.

    hi everyone
Will depend on your age and own circumstances, but i am with “millions” on this one and agree with mentions made by noel whittaker and making contribution to super.
A lot of people are hesitant to lock money in super but i would rather have it locked away for my retirement than just going to the ATO
