Thanks guys for the reply..Much appreciated..

I suspected that…I have lost 2 weeks rental twice like that..basically got ripped off.

when I asked him to manage the property the property was already tenanted. So i wouldn't have been charged anyways at all.

Sometimes you trust ppl and they break ur trust.

ANyways the property manager has been given a flick had enuff of lies and scams.

I can't get any money back from him but a lesson learnt hard way.

    100% agreed with duckster.
Do change the carpets and If you are renting out to old ppl make sure you lay brand new cozy and soft carpets. They will love that.

    Good Luck..:)

Do you deal with managing properties in and around eastern suburbs like boxhill, blackburn, burwood, vermont etc..

    Thanks everyone for the views.

Kristin You are right about location, I am only concerned about the amount of apartments coming up on that street. They are building 150 apartments all up. SO i guess
even selling up after 10 years the profit making chances are not that great too.
Renting them out I guess would be a great struggle too.
But You are spot on about the location and the building
    Thanks Kristin..:)

I agree with you simple but I guess property investment is a long term game You have to hold the property atleast 10 yrs to make profit…:)

My theory is once I buy a property Never sell it
