    I only have 1 thing to share that pretty much covers newbies and pro’s alike.
    It is something that was shared with me when I was still an apprentice,

    Perseverence pays!

    I also stumbled across a quote from Thomas Edison,
    “Our greatest weakness lies in giving up.
    The most certain way to succeed is to always try something one more time.”

    Not overly profound, but something to keep in mind all the same as it applies to everything you do in life.

    A big thanks to all who posted an opinion!
    The feed back from this site is really heartening.
    We have elected to see our accountant about this as I’m not fully convinced one way or another on the subject yet.
    If and when I grasp the concept/s and they appear relevant, I’ll post them here for all to see. Again, to all,, thanks.[biggrin]

    Thanks for your input Derek,
    Yes I couple of valid points re hidden devils and a heads up for Shane too,,, be aware of admin fee’s and body corp – 1 example I have is $6741 pa
    food and laundry came to $2300 plus I found a “sinking fund” ??? (what the?)
    I’m finding the gloss soon scratches off.

    I was warned off due to financiers supposadly not in favour of them but that was all he would say.
    All I see is a govt regulated income and a steady sream of tenants over the long term.(without being too morbid)
    And an income that is increased along with the CPI twice yearly also.Plus tenants that aren’t likey to “trash the joint”
