    Hi Guys

I agree with Mel. I sometimes answer posts because I might be able to offer something useful.

I notice that as with rAty and Poltergeist most of my posts have been in the Fun Forum and also in the NZ related postings.

I have contributed very little in most other postings because I know very little about investing in Australia.

I have already been privileged to have met 4 people from the Forum and I am expecting to meet two more this weekend.

    Hi Guys

Came across this little trick recently.

If you want to paint concrete steps try these tricks.
You could paint the problem surface with good quality pavement paint and in the final coat mix a handful or two of river sand. This will dry into a rough, non-slip surface.

Before you start painting though, make sure that your surface is very clean and very dry and if moss and mildew were present make sure that all the spores are killed. You can use 30 Seconds for this.

Another quick tip: if you are painting on concrete, use vinegar to prime the surface first. The paint will stick even better than usual!

    Hi Redwing

Have heard that what Dolf presents at his 3 hr seminar is mainly what is in his book Real Estate Riches.

Perhaps try and get a copy of his book and have a read before going to the seminar.

I haven’t been to any of his seminars but I have got a copy of his book and do have a browse of it now and again for reinforcement purposes.

    Hi Arty

22 viewings and no comments, so I thought I’ll offer my two penniths worth.

What a great piece of detective work I must say.
I feel sorry for the old dears. What with the cost of repairs these days, no wonder they were going to tell you one day.

You didn’t say how many properties they own? Probably on super and couldn’t afford the repairs. I know, they shouldn’t be driving.

The wife hit the garage door the other day while backing out. Turned too quickly but luckily I was able to bang the bumper back into place. Only a few scratches.

    Hi Del

Actually haven’t bought and sold. Originally we moved out of our own house and moved into a school house.

Each time since then we have moved to another school house. In other words the house has gone with the job.

The one we are in at the moment costs only $10 per week. This is due to go up in the new year however. The Govt has got wise to what is happening.

    Hi Pinkeeeeeeeee

It sounds as if the move has gone well. Haven’t whether the rats survived though.

Now down to the nitty gritty, I suggest you have atalk to your boss and tell him that seeing Free Cell is not on your computer that you want a pay rise.

Why might he/she ask? Then tell him that seeing that you don’t waste time playing Free Cell then you are more productive therefore you have a greater work output therefore you want a pay rise otherwise put Free Cell back on your computer.

Hell that was a long sentence, 39 words. That ain’t good English.

    Hi Bill

Loved the first part but you don’t want to be emailing all the time.

Try and contact Rentmaster and see if he will put it on his web site.

Everyone can have an instant download then.

    Hi rAty

I know how you feel. We have moved 7 times in the last 17 years so we have things down to a fairly fine art now.

    I noticed you didn’t mention Pinkeeeeeeeee’s rats?

I presumed they moved as well.

    Hi Guys

What are heavy posting this is.

Just did a count up of total postings by the forumites and what do you know, you guys have scared all the newbies away.

Total postings by the collective were: 141,93,150,269,41,547,528,52,15,379 and 259 and no newbies to be seen anywhere.

Wow what a select bunch you lot are and three moderators making postings as well.

    Hi Leigh

    Thanks for that info.

No, Westan didn’t give me the glove as I think he had left before it turned up for him to bring it over. “Quietly”I am still expectantly waiting for it to turn up. Had to use an old t-shirt this weekend to polish the car.

I’ll have a look at the web site

Well I had a look at the website and what a shocker. It is too damned slow. I managed to play about 30 games of Free Cell while I waited for something to happen.
Couldn’t find out the price of anything at all.

    Hi Fudge

    We await with baited breath.

Using Rentmaster is a damned good idea and I wish a few of the forumites would read the posts a bit better. It would certainly save your e-letter box.
