    So I went home to admire my new high gloss dining room floor which will get it’s fifth coat this morning.

    Yeah I noticed that to.

    However when I posted from this side of the Tasman the postings were correctly dated.

    However because they were correctly dated, instead of going to the top of the list they were listed BEHIND all the incorrectly dated postings.

    I could have played merry hell with everyone’s posting.
    However from the goodness of my heart I decided enough was enough, signed off, went home and watched TV.

    Hi Guys

    With so much of NZ owned by the Aussies, NZ will become another State of Australia soon.

    But then again as Australia cow tows to the Americans so much Australia will soon become the 51st state of the USA and then NZ can become the 52nd state.

    How about that.

    Also as I stated earlier in the year watch gold and silver. See, gold is racing away and dragging silver with it. Now where is my bar of silver I ordered before Xmas?

    Have you researched properties available on http://www.realenz.co.nz which lists most properties available in NZ?
    From this web site you will find the individual RE agents web sites and phone numbers. Contact them to find out more about the properties and the district they are in.

    Get yourself a book with all the roadmaps of the cities and towns in the South Island.(Try Dimocks)

    From The RE agents get contact numbers for Property Managers in the areas that you are interested in. Contact them about specific areas and how easy it is to rent and what the average rents are.

    Also check out http://www.minhousing.govt.nz which lists the ave rents over the last six months in all areas of NZ from bonds received by the Tenancy Tribunal.

    Expect to have a large phone bill.

    Congratulations on reaching 1000 postings Melbear.

    However I’ve emailed Steve and suggested that any posting of less than 25 words should be disallowed. Therefore on researching your postings with a bit of luck 245 of your postings should be deleted.lol[:o)](I love him)

    Also just to rub it in a bit more I have nursed my Freecell wins along to 1468 consecutive wins(Eat your heart out Mel).[8]

    Welcome back.I hope that you all have settled well into the NZ way of life in the deep south.(wait till winter comes)
    Now that you are almost a NZer you will have to put up with the ribbing we get from the Aussies who think that NZ is a second rate sporting nation.

    Still NZ hasn’t had to resort to primer school antics so that a six couldn’t be hit off the last ball of a match. How many NZers have hit a six off the last ball of a one dayer anyway?

    Weetbix have been around since Moses played fullback for Jerusalem.[:D]

    I have eaten Weetbix for breakfast for at least 50 years.[:(]

    Also have Marmite on my toast sometimes as well.[}:)]
