I don’t know what would be an acceptable figure to you. perhaps 5% or less?

Not too sure of the details but it is the sort of thing that isn’t publicly available.

You will need to honour any existing leases.
Ask the property manager what the existing tenants are like. 9 times out of ten they will be fine.

James can you be a little more specific.
These are two completely different things.
Redraw is withdrawing money accumulated in the home loan whereas refinancing is renegotiating the entire loan – presumably for more funds in your case.
What is your aim?

This may just be a marketing scam by the REA. The agent may not exist and they might just be after a listing.
I hope not.

[quote Do you know how long you are meant to reside at a property (in Perth, Western Australia) within the first 12 months of ownership so as not to violate any FHOG conditions.
where it saysQuote:Check out http://www.mortgagehunter.com.au/first-home-owner-grant.html
Links to each states FHOG are on the page.
Whilst they haven’t all been updated the word is that the requirement will be for 6 months occupancy of the home to keep the FHOG. I believe they do consider extenuating circumstances if you move out earlier.
