SIS, I don’t think I can post as madly as you!![:p]

I’m surprised you haven’t got RSI or is it OOS now?

I can’t wait til School goes back [}:)] and you actually have to go and do something with all your free time!!![:o)]

I freely admit I have deleted about 10-15 of my posts as they were double ups, and oh yeah, steve deleted one too about Billfromoz.

But don’t worry SIS, I’ll call it 1015 before I’m really a Platinum – not far to go!!

Sounds good Kay! I’ll have to work out when next I’m up that way, and I’ll let you know. Maybe I could try to make it up for your next Sydney get together – if you guys are still doing that. I could use that opportunity to hunt down and shoot SIS – although he still won’t tell me why [:(]

    This is my 1000th post!!

Yay for me! And I beat SIS, even though he’s been posting like a mad thing!!!

PG, it says in there that singles are more prone to being addicted. Maybe you and I should hit the town and find us some ‘significant others’ – although that’ll just mean more catching up to do! [:(]

Shughson, from memory though there hasn’t been any mention of Hobart. I think it’s definitely become like all the other ‘regional’ capitals, and prices have increased far more than rents.

MJK, I think you need to lodge for assessment. Working it out yourself sounds a little primitive, and I guess the govt wouldn’t want to take the risk of you sending in less money!!

SIS, get PG to go with you on the tour. That way you can do the ‘good cop bad cop’ routine.

Ah, me too! I went down the coast on the weekend, and was worried about missing all the posts [:)].

I wonder if HexenKuss’s self-help group was a chat room?

Hi people (I wanted to say guys, which I say to mean a group of people, but thought I’d better not)

I’m not saying that it was Tony who helped me find the answers, but that he taught me how to look. His main focus is making, sorry, helping/encouraging you to take responsibility for yourself. He dislikes it when people attribute their changes to him, because then they feel that they need him in the future, rather than being able to do it themselves.

And SIS, I need more info!!!!!! [:)]

Firewalking was great – 3 steps and it was over! Think I need to do it again to really experience it, but not so sure.

I’ve bungy jumped, and skydived, but definitely DON’T feel the urge to do either of them again!

    Hi Linda

As ActToday suggested, the ATO doesn’t have a problem UNLESS it’s well below market rent, and therefore the property is negatively geared, with the consequent tax deductions. If rent is ‘close’ to fair market value, then it’s not usually a problem, even if the property is then -ve.

    Definitely agree with Simon.

How much of the debt is your PPOR? Pay miminal payments onto all other debts, and direct ALL money to your PPOR until it is paid off. If the others are P&I, you could create a substantial amount of extra money to go towards your PPOR.

So presumably, Kay, you then had to call the cops to report a breach of the restraining order?[:p]

Hey Tools, I know that Somersoft’s PIA does the projections. I’m not sure what ‘cheap’ is to you, but I think you can get it for under $150. I think if you go to http://www.apimagazine.com.au they have some trial downloads of some software – they may do the figures for you.

Other than that, have a look in the recent threads (there were two from memory) on software – I think there are a few options in there that are free or low cost.

    Hi Kay

I reckon I could say I’ve had the worst 18 months of my life starting in about June 02 when my alcoholic partner got trashed and fell backwards down some stairs and fractured his skull. Holding his head while it was p***ing blood was not a good feeling. Then in September my brothers gf was killed in a car accident (while I was attending Life Mastery in Fiji, so i didn’t find out until after the funeral). [:(] Combined with some, shall we say, interesting investment catastrophes, and hell at work, I reckon I would have been a basket case by now if I hadn’t attended Tony’s courses.[:X]

Of all the courses I have done, including investment ones that have helped me gain equity of close to half a million in a year, if I hadn’t done Tony’s, there’s no way I would have had the confidence or courage to even buy my third property, let alone my 14th, and deal with the problems we had settling on some of them in Dec 02.

Yes, they are a bit exxy[8], but I would recommend that everybody attend his initial 4 day one ‘Unleash the Power Within’ – the firewalk one – it’s about $1500 I think. I’m going to go again in Sydney this September/October when he’s here.[^] I sent a friend and her husband to the one held last year, and have bought 4 tickets to this years – but my family don’t seem to be interested in firewalking[8)]

    Cheers
    Mel
