Hi Sonia Ellem, firstly welcome to the forums, i am sure you will find this place to be a very valuable resource [wink2]

Im sure by this stage you will have an idea approximately what sort of place and how much you are looking to invest in, have a general look around at different places to get a feel for what the market is doing in that region. The online websites like realestate.com etc is a great place to start, eventually you will want to start making relationships with real estate agents who will get you the good deals if you find the right ones

I couldn’t agree more gatsby, ur only going to quit if you seriously want to..

    More good reasons to quit

    * Confidence. Quitting smoking is a challenge. Once you have quit, you will know you can succeed at a difficult job and take control of your life. Quitting helps you believe in yourself and take on other challenges.
    * Fitness. Smoking makes it harder to exercise and reduces the benefits to your body.” Smokers have more coughs and colds than non-smokers and take longer to feel well again.’
    * Money. In a way, giving up smoking is like getting a pay rise, as much as $2500* a year if you smoke 25 cigarettes a day.
    * Your appearance. Skin starved of oxygen by smoking becomes dry and grey.”‘ Wrinkles around the eyes and mouth develop much earlier,”” and the tar stains your teeth and fingers.
    * Fertility and childbirth. Men who smoke may suffer impotence due to damage to the blood vessels in the penis.” Sperm quality and density can also be affected by smoking. Smokers may produce less sperm and their sperm may have more abnormalities.’ Women who smoke take longer to conceive and are more likely to have a miscarriage.”‘
    * Babies born to mothers who smoked in pregnancy are more likely to be premature, stillborn or die shortly after birth.”‘ A baby exposed to tobacco smoke has a higher risk of dying from cot death.”
    * Children whose parents smoke are more likely to get pneumonia and bronchitis in their first year of life, to suffer from more frequent and more severe asthma attacks 2 1 and to become regular smokers themselves

I think this is a really good thread for those who are smoking and seriously considering giving up.

Today is my first day without one, hopefully many more to come. Its not the addiction that has me so much, but more being a habit, like i have to do it, like jancrows said, its matter of keeping ur mind off the topic. Good Luck to all others trying to give up [medieval]

i have been smoking now for about 8 months… not long compared to some ppl. But in that timei ahve made sure that i only smoke light cigarettes, but i don’t think im addicted, i could easily go weeks without one, but then i think about the relaxation that it gives u, and just end up smoking again… i smoke the most on social occasions.. but try limit it, well done to the people trying to quit [fear]

    SIS,

when u hit roll, the 5 dice have different values ranging from 1 – 6. Now just imagine that your looking down on the roses (dice) and that the dice that has a dot in the middle eg. this being the 1, 3 and 5. With the first dice, being number one, there are no other dots on the dice surrounding it, but on the dice that has 3 numbers on it, one in the centre and 2 surrounding it, therefore the stem of the rose is the centre dot and it has 2 petals surrounding it. same goes for the 5, the one in the centre is them stem, with four petals surrounding it.

    hope this helps sis

    Cheers Matt

Personally i don’t think it proves anything about how smart you are, but purely how diffferent peoeple look at different problems, for someone like myself with a very logical brain, took me two hours to get, but yea[shades2]

alrighty, everyone has had enough time [upsidedown]

the 3 and the 5 are used as the roses, so the middle dot is the rose part, and the dots around the centre one are the petals. so the number three has 2 petals, and the number 5 has 4 petals [suave]
