Hi Cris,
I think for starters if I understood correctly that you have an agreement with the agent and this lady has signed a contract then you can not break your agreement with the estate agent. Further more i do not think she can get out of the contract either.
The agent could take you both to task.
As far as the hard sell goes put yourself in her place if you came on to strongly and she is not aware of the concept you probably scared her off. I reckon you should now wait on her reply.
