Yep. I live in a flat managed by Whittles.

Drains were blocked for about 3 months before they did something.

Rubbish bins stolen over a year ago, still need to be replaced.

Gardeners come around about once a month make a lot of noise and leave without even picking up the random litter that can be seen all around the place.

When I send them an invoice for taking out the bins every week, I often have to send two reminder notices (2 weeks apart) before they process it.

One neighbour sold his property and moved into another block of flats that was also managed by Whittles. Their incompetence and lack of action, led the whole group to sack Whittles and get another Strata company.

They are happy to take member's money but deliver very little service in return.

They pander to members with multiple dwellings at the expense and frustration of the majority of members. eg: If a member who owns six units wants them repainted on the outside, everyone pays. If the majority of members want their stairs made safer and less slippery, the owner of six units can (and often does) vote it down.

When I used civil, respectable language to complain about an issue, I received a very rude response personally attacking me. The kind of response one would not expect from a professional Body Corporate.
