There is a couple of better quality Australian made vinyl claddings available.
Most people clad their home because they don’t want to keep painting it. Depends on the condition of the w/boards but i have clad w/board homes for not much more than the cost to paint. everyone has their opinion, we have clad over 1300 homes in the last 13 years and have never had anyone say they didn’t like it? Will it ad value in the short term? again depends on the condition of the home now. Just did a house for R/E agent/investor to on sell. We get people come up to us at our display in shopping centres that have had their house clad for 30 years and they always say how much all the painting it has saved them. The quality of vinyl cladding is alot better now than in the past. Asking a bricklayer if he likes cladding is like asking a carpet layer if he likes floor boards. Or a mortgage broker if you should go direct to the bank. lol

ps if you can give me some measurements or m2 i can tell you if you are being conned. It is cheaper to deal with someone who owns the business not a salesman, cut out the commission, IMHO.
