Hi Pinkster, I saw the posting where you gave a good blast of honesty and I thought it was quite good actually, so don’t go saying sorry. After seeing that you were no longer going to be on this site I stopped looking in every day and have just been looking in once a week. I thought good on you for saying what you think. I think most adults can handle it but obviously some can’t. Stallin would have been proud of some of the things that people wrote in reply to you. Freedom of speech is sadly lacking in this so called democracy that we live in. And before all the do gooders get back on their soap boxes and start defending thy leader, CHILL OUT, RELAX. We can say what we like in this cage.

Yeah, I argree with Martin on the “one liner qoutes”. I’m the last person to be negative, & I’m not being negative when I say this, but some of those qoutes sound like people are kidding themselves. If the people spent as much time being creative with their time as they do coming up with some of those stomach churning comments then they would be alot better off I would imagine. It’s like there is a competition to see who can come up with the best one. Now I know it’s all harmless fun and this will be followed up with the “don’t read them if you don’t like them” attitude, or the innate herd response from this sellect group which comes in the form of defensive attacking suggestions, which is fine. The key here folks is to lighten up and not take yourselves so seriously, and don’t feel too offended by this posting.

Hi Pinkster & Arty I do believe. Well shock horror batman. I do feel for the Artster, you would be a hard act to follow by the sounds of things. I’ve been back at work this week and have just caught up on the goss. Does this mean I wont get my black Cobra with a 5spd gear box and leather trim. Or are you going to do the right thing and get it for me anyway. Yeah I knew you would Pinky. For a silly moment I thought the car was gone. I’m such an idiot some times, to think you wouldn’t buy the car for your vice pres (self nominated of course) I second the motion, carried. Thank god for that. Then it’s official. I’m vice Pres.

Does that mean I have to put some clothes back on. U C now I’m confused. As for my soul baby, it was gone long ago.How ever as for being P.O.P it has a certain ring to it.Was does this little change in my circumstances get me.Beacause I’d love an AC Cobra, that’s a car Pinkster.A really really nice car, and I know your cashed up. Don’t worry it wont take the whole 50K, just may be 2 thirds of it. But hey, look at the happiness it will bring me.And I will owe it all to you PINKSTER. What a GAL. A black one would be nice, BUT ANY COLOUR WILL DO, I’m not fussy. But a manual 5 speed would be nice. And leather trim, you’d look great in leather trim pinky. Can you see it Pinky.

    Hi there,

Busy day for me folks, but I thought I’d make an appearance for a change [:D]

It’s obvious from the posts here that there needs to be a ‘Midwifery’ post somewhere in this PROPERTY investing website ([:0)]), so I might have a chat about that with Steve. What do you think? [;)]

Let’s start using the ‘Forum Fun’ section of this website and leave the ‘Heavy’ property questions for the General Discussion area. The traffic is AMAZING!!! Let’s keep the frustration down and put things in its place.

Cheers and have a good weekend

Piont taken, but it was actually a serious investment property related question. People do tend to have varying degree’s of difference with their interpritation of what might constitute a genuine question.Judging by the reply’s quite a few other people think that it’s a related topic.
However I shall reframe from asking question’s that might offend other people.

Shame I was enjoying this site.

I can’t believe it, you mean I’m in.”LIKE WOW”. I guess I should start by thanking my probation officer and then there’s “LIGHT FINGERED HARRY” and my coach (Cousin no one talks about in the familiy) and a whole range of people. Hope you didn’t have to sell too much of what’s left of your soul to get me in PINKSTER.

    Hiya lifestyle,

Sure the pace slows for a while, but the riches far exceed the IP factor.

I am the richest man on earth ! And I wouldn’t give it ( my family ) up for anything.

Lifestyle your choice is a simple one, go chase your dream of property ownership. Then choose one of your 100’s of tennants to be your partner !

You would have to be one of the most intelligent people I have come across on this web site. It’s so dam obvious that I had inadvertantly over looked the very fact that you have just pointed out. Have my cake and eat it.Of course there will have to be tennant interviews, back ground checks, profitability margins to be taken into account. Sounds like quite a job. Best get started.

Just to add my comments, I agree with all of the above. Its amazing what you can do if you need to and kids have certainly had a lot to do with our property investing. Our boys 8 and 10….Our goals – pay for a private education for them, educate them in smart investing not working your guts out for a wage, showing them that we have the confidence to take a risk and fail if necessary to grow in life and spending as much time with them as possible whilst they are young. SQ

I agree with you and everyone has shown that it isn’t the big noose around the neck I thought it might be. Great to read about this stuff.

    Lifestyle,
I am a 35 year old single mother with 3 children. (Not looking for anyone either).
With 3 children, I have renovated a house, completed and sold a 2 lot sub-division, owner-builder of my house (with my ex) and am now into my second sub-division.
You can do anything you want to do, with or without children!

You make it sound simplish Pebbs. I couldn’t imagine how hard it must have been at times, or was it ok ?. Good to hear though.

Thanks guy’s this site is proving a winner. I’ve been in touch with a broker and thing’s look back on track. I really hate big banks that try to hobble you and keep you down. Power to the people.
This site is providing more imformation tnan I bet Steve & Dave ever imagined. It’s instant answers. People helping people for nothing, just because they want to help. Well done everyone. Time for a group hug. Ready, Steady, Go.

Gold coast, Qld.It sounds alright.I only have my house and 1 IP, but hearing other peoples views & experiences first hand would be good. Once every 3-4 months over a quiet beer, wine or coffee would be good. If there,s enough interest on the coast then let’s catch up.

    No freaks though.

armoured guard on money trucks for Chubb.Good job, although self employment is the ultimate goal. You get heaps of usefull imformation though because you go to banks all day. You just ask the bank staff about any thing you need to know about money matters.

I hear ya brother.I feel like may be I’m a little behind the eight ball because now every one is in to it. While there are obviously still some bargins out there I would imagine it’s going to be that little bit harder. I’ve come up with my own little investment template after reading 0-135 and it differs from the books but I feel it is right for me. I would love to do it all as quick as Steve & Dave but I don’t think it will happen just yet. My template and stratigy will take a bit longer but I feel it will work for me. Fingers crossed. I even went out and bought maps of every state after reading 0-135. I’m not dashing out to but in the bush just yet. But I am looking at NZ.

Hi ya,NO your not alone. I’ve read around a dozen of these books and this one is about the norm. It’s a great book and I’m learning alot from it but now and then I have to just put it down and pick it up when I feel like it. Some of it is writen in accountant speak, but it’s not to bad.Reading between the lines makes me see that it’s not quite as simple as 0-135 in 3.5. But a form of success is there for the taking.I’m not being negative because the book and Steve & Dave have help me see another way of acheiving my goals so it’s all good.
