that is fantastic tahnks heaps everyone very insperational….yes westan i can relate to the renovating thing…i am at that stage now i am so sick of living the way we do….it really depends on my mind set sometimes i thing stuff it lifes to short i want to do a small reno. in PPOR cause 2 years is to long to live with yukky stained carpets…no matter how much u clean the place looks dirty i also want to knock out 1 wall where the new floor has to go and i figure if i want new flooring i must knock wall out 1st instead of doing floor then wall if you know what i mean….but then when i have my smart head on i think i should save for another investment.

DD thanks for your long reply that was far from boring it was great so you felt the brizzy boom good on you well done

this is a fantastic idea…i have just recently brought a property in NZ and currently saving for my next 1 over their…but i am planning to go over next year maybe by then you will be ready for your 2nd in NZ or third but teaming up is a great idea as my family and partner aint to interested in property would be very boring for a relative to go with me with no real interest and i figure it would be very destracting for me..they would want to do tourist things and i wouldnt…maybe next time you could give more notice before going over and you would get more responses good luck !!!! GREAT IDEA

ohhhh another point if you are a shop-a-holic be carefull with a credit card…..it could be more trouble then its worth some people forget that they have to pay it off they think its paid in total plastic and no $$$$$ what so ever…..dont fall into this trap

Well thats terrible news….Dolf de Ross and many other financial advisers say its a great thing to walk around with loads of cash on you….dont forget its the journey and the education that is important….if you have your finances in order their is plenty more from where that cash came from.

As for the saying i think the actual saying is evil !!!!!!!…….people that believe in that saying have no money and no doudt will never have a great deal of $$$….is the glass half empty or half full…..depends what way you wanna look at things…..money can touch the lives of so many people in so many fantastic ways…look at all the great charitys that the rich support.

dont forget when you write on the contract subject to finance you still really aint covered cause the bank can pull out of it at any time up until settlement day…..we had this happen to us we signed with subject to finance the broker said woo hoo u got the loan then subject to morgage insurance then 15 days later the mortgage insurers said no so by this time 5 days cooling off period had elasped so we were stuffed…we had to sale 1 property to get out of the shit so we didnt get sued….even if you get pre approved you still aint really covered completely…its all risky business unfortuanetly

his seminar is $4,000 i went 2 the midday show i thought the free seminar was well worth my time just gets ya brain working….re inforces some things you already know and yes i did learn some stuff great presenter has a bit of a personality to boot…although a little 2 clever for my liking with marketing….come across a little shifty like you felt like you were getting something for free but we know how wrong that is…i suppose it depends at what stage of your life you are at as to if you attend his seminar…to the people that signed up do what you feel is right you know in your heart what is good for you everyone is different dont allow negative chatter from others to enter your head

just to let you know Nat the valuer is very conservative because if things turn bad and they have to sell your property they have 30 days only to sell it so they get what ever they can for it…i think you are wanting to know the value so you know where you stand get a Real Estate agent to value it and then take off 20,000 or 15,000 and you should be safe…with my place Real Estate agent 1 said 310…..next agent said 300 and the valuer said 290 so maybe get 3 Real Estate agents out and then take 10,000 off the lowest price i think its better to work with a lower price to do your 1st set of sums and then if it higher its a bonus un like me who was a little dissapointed at the end of the day Good Luck

yerr i did check it out…yess i had them emailing me about propertys in Vic months ago…no aint really looking for this kind of a thing…thanks heaps any way…when i was thinking of investing in Qld i spoke to some buyers agents up there they had a wonderfull service they did the research (due diligence) give you growth figures and heaps of toewn info as well as property info. sounded fab but my interest for investing has shifted to NZ…i just dont like the idea of taking a trip over to NZ and then having so many days to find a bargain sounds like to much pressure to me…with the reports on the house wouldnt you make a offer and on the contract write subject to you being happy with pest inspection and builders report??
