The local council involved would be able to help with some things ie:- car parking requirements on site, max number of persons allowed to co-inhabit a single dwelling, you may have to apply for a licence, advertise your intent & get comment or agreement from adjoining land owners.

Ok, thanks guys. I’ll stop my whining now. I just had so many problems getting any form of credit when I first started working for my self; I started to get paranoid about the situation, before I’d even thought about it!
I believe anyone inspecting a property should be a registered builder. Not sure about Pest Control though, but always ensure they carry out their inspection inline with the relevant Australian standard.
