For myself, I had to sit down in front of my computer and allocate my time for work, studies, and fun..
For myself i have many friends (not bragging) though only a few true friends.. who i know would die for me if it ever came up.. and I thank God for them because so many times they have saved my life..and I would do the same. So it took me a while but i figured out the time I could spend them while doing something we enjoyed..as I have plenty of hobbies and restricted time. For example I play tennis once a week with my best friend.. and my other close friends we go to the gym.. and on occassions we go out to drink and chat. I had to give up some hobbies with friends who werent so close as I felt my time should be spent with the close ones I do have. I’m happy with my mates in general, they all have being good to me and I have being to them, only time I have lost friends was the lack and common interest we shared nothin more, nothin to do with finances, maybe more to do with gals [:p].
My friends dont have an interest in PI as I do, fair enough i dont bore them with my knowledge or theories.. and same goes with their degrees or jobs. We go out and have fun together, because we share that common interest.. that connection as good friends.. we enjoy each other company. Im not in a stage yet to tell em i have PI as I have none, though when the time does arise.. i know they would be happy with my success and if they were interested in PI, for sure I will help them out as much as I can!
Thats IMO anyhows []

Hahah looks like u wanan be on the forum while enjoyin a nice cool bath. I would suggest puttin a table that can steadily hold over your bath tub.. with the AC adaptor and telephone/network cable attached along side of ur wall. u can sticky tape it down or if u want it permit stabled it down. Though probably best to have the laptop without the ac adaptor in case IF the laptop falls.. u wont get a crazy light threatning shock hehe..
Or safer way.. buy air con?

I;m just starting off so I can tell u if this works in 5 years time… []
1. Buy some property info and motivational books to get you started. And find out your true reason for investing in property.
2. Get involve with like minded pplz to keep u motivated, hasnt happen for me yet since most of my mates wanna enjoy themselves atm. I have my bike who motivates me atm hehe
3. Get invovle with the property industry somehow like working in the property industry. For me im doing my correspondance Property Valuation diploma, first few of the modules I also believe gives me my real estate agent licence.. i better check that one. that way i can be more involved with property as compared to my I.T job atm.
4. Save money, limit on spending.
5. Research within the property industry, as in with banks, real estate agents, accountants, solictors so forth.
6. With the knowledge I plan to acheive I can use it for more judgemental purchases and hopefully eliminate some of the bad experiences I will probably still get? hehe
7. With the cashflow I get, I can hopefully buy a new motorbike each year
Dosent it sound good, lets hope it goes all to plan. Just lots of hard work.. now time to get dirty []
Thats for me anyhows.

Julian I would just let them browser whatever through Internet Explorer, provided they use it then.. at end of day.. open IE up and press CTRL+H and get the history of visited websites.. if you see http://www.xxx.com then you can punish them through ur own means. []

I just posted this in another section, not realising it has been already answered, however Ill copy and paste hoping to help abit with your questions, even though most have been answered.
1/ I recommend DART or Telpacfic, they offer unlimited and are a praise choice from internet users. You can compare prices and plans at http://www.broadbandchoice.com.au
2/ I would go with DART or Telpacfic as they offer unlimited so you dont get a nasty suprise when your bill comes.
3/ To control usage time, you would have to find a parental control software that can do so, i know for content programs like Netnanny will do the trick, you can download free trials i believe from http://www.download.com
4/ ADSL/Cable are same as dial up, no conflicts for ur internet related software.
5/ Dart has a contract that is only 3 months, though u will have pay more up front costs, as you have to obtain a modem, unless u bring ur own. Also there is a provisional line fee for all ADSL users or setup fee for cable users which the ISP cannot avoid, so thus the charges can be laid up front or paid over a long duration of time.
5/ Cause adsl is a constant connection, networkin ur computers will be a treat for many users in the family. You may wish to find a friend to set this networking feature up, such OS systems as WinXP have walkthrough wizards which will help with setting up a network. A PC Technican probably charge you $60 an hour to set this up. So additional cost will be a hub.. i recommend switch faster transfer rates when file transferin.. but hub is good 2. then u ll need network cables dependin how many comps u have as well as Network cards.
Network cards are about $30 each.
Cables.. depend on length.. usually $5 for 5 metres
Hub about $80 for decent one.
Have alook around for prices .. and even purchase ur own cable or adsl modem if u wish to save some cost and to obtain a relaible modem.

I fully misinterepted the original post, my apologies.
I would recommend chattin with ur solictor on what implications an expired deposit bond will have on a contract sale in case something does happen..
I did read somewhere that some1 lost their IP b4 they could finalised the purchase because their deposit bond expired.. dont know how that works.. maybe some1 can fill me up with some knowledge []
melbear – thanks for the correction []

Tax is something that is there and usually cutting that down means your losing money anyhows as you get a discount in tax if you have a negative gear property. Still losing money.
Just curious young.learner whoever is having that high salary read the book 0-130 properties in 3.5 years? Cause theres some helpful tips in that book itself. Though IMO for me , negative geared property is a bigger loss even though im gettin a tax cut. But hey it may work for u in another means..
Goodluck and let us know how u manage ur tax break. []
