    sis, most people are pretty savvy these days about property investment, and sydneysiders are not gonna give away 240K for nothing.

    It all depends on if you want to deal with the man or not. but 240k for 4 (NEW) units on one title is not too bad.

    A pity his market is pensioners and that the guy was a criminal- i’d certainly think about it if it weren’t for those two tiny things :o(

    sis, in the info that i received from VO before the weekend, it said that there were 2 options for rental- either go with VO or go with ray white RE parkes (I think). I mentioned this before in a previous post. i also mentioned that RW said the properties would rent for $180-200 rent there a week.

    Check your info pack again- it says it all quite clearly there.

    There are only select people we can trust in life. If I come on here and say that there are a number of CF+ deals in marulan, for example, why would I think there would be any left the next day?

    You’ll probably know who is who by now in here. But if i was on a car enthusiasts board, and I said how there was a one of a kind car and said the address of wherever it was, i probably wouldn;t be surprised if it was gone the next day.

    As with all things, discretion probably doesn’t hurt. I mean, I discuss some aspects of my personal life because I want to- but as for property- if i found a really good deal, to make it public will just make it disappear.

    Taking the whole CPI pension increase? Gee, they get like 2 bucks occasionally as a bonus to their pension…

    How much rent are the pensioners expected to pay sis and Chan?

    yeah, Mel- they might wear leather accessories, but i was talking about their bodies- aren’t dogs made out of leather? just like cows? Or am i wrong here?

    sis, pensions are not increased in line with CPI.

    Also- did he tell you he buys for 190k and sells for 240K? That is pretty full disclosure! did he say that for real?

    i dunno who bags books- there’s a book review list elsewhere on the forum- i guess some people like some books better than others. Personally, i love RE books- but i don’t find they “inspire” or ‘motivate” me- i have to find that from within- not from a stranger. I just read the books for fun really :)

    People bag henry kaye too, but before he turned out to be crooked, he was many people’s disciple. After that, it became ok to bag him. Disciples can be a funnt fickle lot!

    What is a tyrekicker anyway? Someone who checks a lot of deals before they buy?

    Chan, you said they had free aocohol- as much as you could drink. Hence my reference to plying people with alcohol and warming them up for deals.

    ActToday- how much is the course?

    I would be very suspicious about people giving advice on personal development and health etc- sounds like an expensive waste of time to me- and sounds a bit cultish.

    What strategies/info can they provide to you about property that can’t be found anywhere else? Do they have unique “secrets”?

    Their courses probably don’t have to be covered by ASIC- anyone can give you direction about what to eat and the importance of exercise, blah blah… And you obviously wouldn’t pay if you thought you needed a refund (a la all these HK people demanding a refund).

    Vietnam is a lovely place though, I’ve heard :) Pity the govt there lets the scammers in :o(

    Well now, i dunno, Fibe :) some people like wearing rubber gloves to do the washing up. But the people I know where it because it feels so nice (latex).

    I personally love leather on myself (it smells great, and it feels strong and tough) and I love latex on my gal (very smooth and sexy!)

    Mel’s puppies like wearing leather too :))

I could feel [:(] (sad)- but i don’t feel that either. Or i could just feel [:(!] (angry) or [:0] (anxious). But as long as someone doesn’t [B)] (punch me in the head), it’s all good [:)]

    I think another rule of thumb is “NO FLOODPRONE AREAS”

    God- have a look at tamworth, and some outback QLD areas right now- completely under water. I reckon an IP is worth *nothing* if it is underwater.

    Really cheap IP’s are cheap for a reason. A 40k flood place means you’ve chucked 40k into the river.
