I was thinking that maybe what i will do is a big push and advertise the property at a much lower price and write the add $…… highest over over this amount will be accepted. Not sure if this is a good idea. but for rental there is no problem the agent just wanted to sell it vacant.

Thank you for your responces, i think the problem is that i am not there to show the property, and that the agent now well slow, so i have to keep onto him.the price i think is fair,and the return good.
unfortunatly i cant keep the property as i dont seem to be able to get a loan, so i have done well from the property and time to move on.

I have thought about keeping the property but i would really like to have a property nearer to me. Would make any type of small maintance easier, would be able to keep an eye on the place instead of trusting an agent, and i have been burnt very bad by the other agent in Gloucester.

hi i have placed it in the agents hands and i will be keping onto the agent, seeing what he is doing.i was asked by the agent to leave the house vacant for a month to give him a chance to sell. i think that this is a promising sign??

I have acyually asked a few friends i have near there if they would like to show the property to people and i offered to them $2000-00 for their time. well my friend either dont need money, or its all too hard….but advertising for a pensioner is a great idea….thank you

Well i was attempting to sell the property myself, but have learnt that this is not possible because of this problem.I have listed it this week along with a shop that i own beside the house, offering the shop on a vendor finance, hoping to sell the house and shop together even though they are on seperate titles

The population is around the 6000 with surrounding areas about another 4000.
