Richard – I think your my new investing hero. I will shout you a whole bottle of headache tablets and something nice to wash it down if you will tell me how to get deals like that ! I would have thought the GC was not the best place to look but I can see that it's not always about the area but about the quality of the deal. Good Luck with the Reno's Merf.

Thanks for the feedback Gazza, Could not get the link to work, but found some other related enquiries on the forums. Thanks for your help.
Thanks Richard for the response. I have the name of your accountant in Southport. I have booked an appointment with SBS in Brisbane. If I am not thrilled with their service I will contact your man in Southport and mention your name. Thank-you again I appreciate your help. You have assisted me in the past as well. I am grateful.
I don't mind paying top dollar if we receive top information tailored to our situation. I would rather pay more for better info. I would prefer to stay with someone in Brissie if possible as I find this easier. Thanks Terry for your response
Hello everyone,
Just checking if you are all still using SBS for your strategic planning for your properties. Some of these posts are a few years old and a company is only as good as the current staff.
Do you all still recommend their services ? Are you still current clients? Do you find the propducts value for money?
I need some structuring advise and my current accountants are not quite up to the task.
Thanks so much.
Kath
Dear Ricky,
Previously when we had a rental property we went through a Property Manager called Louise Griffin Property Management the office is located in Stones Corner (which is very handy to Annerley.) She was particular with her property checks and is no nonsense with the tenants when she needs to be. The office contact details are 3397 5877. I have not dealt with them recently (in the last few years) as we currently do not have a rental ourselves – I would recommend contacting them to get some details to compare to other agents if you are interested. They do not buy or sell properties only manage.
Good Luck
Kay
Could anyone please suggest the approximate cost and length of time required to start a SMSF ?
It seems easiest to simply go through our accountant, however I had heard recently at the conference how costly incorrect information can be and I am not quite sure about the calibre of my accountant ?
I assume a property investing focused accountant might be the best place to start.
Wishing I had networked a bit more with my fellow Queenslanders at the conference……………Has anyone got recommendations for a suitable Accountant?
